For my book, I have analyzed close to 90 years of Puerto Rico's bonds. 2 interesting findings from the 1980s: Gov. Hernandez Colon attempted to sell "Samurai" bonds to Japan. He was scolded by the US, PR does not have the ability to have independent relationships with other countries (1/2)

Puerto Rico's ruling statehooders introduced a bill today to amend the Criminal Code so that murder includes "conceived human beings in any stage of gestation." They've stopped short of saying it's an abortion ban so they can call opponents liars and then call it an abortion ban after they pass it.
