No idea, honestly. I haven't travelled to Europe in over a decade, sadly. If the trains are affordable, I can see them becoming a real alternative to flying, and one I'd be happy to take. I guess we'll see.

Not sure when it happened, but my backyard bird feeders seem to have gone viral on SiskinTok. I used to get one in a blue moon, now I'm seeing them daily. #Siskin #BirdsOfBluesky #Birding #Birdwatching

A siskin, Carduelis spinus. According to RSPB, the siskin is a small, lively finch, smaller than a Greenfinch. It has a distinctly forked tail and a narrow bill. The male has a streaky yellow-green body and a black crown and bib.

She was truly amazing. Her Parable series was so spot-on. It's so sad she died at such a young age (and by such a common accident - tripping and falling.) She could have created so many more classic works. I re-read her works every few years and they just seem to get more applicable every year.
