A large grain of salt is alwats required with any information unless you can validate it in more than one independent way.

Haha!!! Um, I hope the power of suggestion isn't quite that powerful. ☠️

Still funny though. Honestly the pull-me-pull-you aspect of the Luas elluded me until this very moment. 😁 (Reference to The Stream series Bill wrote - for anyone wondering. You'd have to read it to find out though...)

Is it whimsical if I can taste it...? (asking for my belly)🤭

Maria Jones-Phillips @mariajonesphillipsart.com · 10/08/2026

Whimsy is my thing, Pekka! At least when it comes to art. 🍰😊Thank you. 🙏🏼

Lovely painting. I can feel the heat radiating from it. Perfect use of colours, and lovely nostalgic observation as is so typical of your work. It reminds me of my recent trip to New Mexico. ❤️

Thank you very much, Kevin. I appreciate the prayers. 🙏🏼

Perfect! We all know how difficult capturing birds on camera is! Good exercise for the lungs though - holding breath and all. You'd be fantastic at deep sea diving by now, John! 😁

Ooh, this a lovely composition. 🤗 Lovely bird. I've never seen a black phoebe before.

I'm sorry to hear that. Being able to stand upright is always a plus though. I'll take that too. I've missed you too. ❤️🫂

Thank you lovely lady. I'm ok, all things considered. How have you been? 🥰

Fantastic! Congratulations to your cherub! 🤗 Time defintely seems to go quicker the older we get, and our kids grow up in the blink of an eye. It's very cool to see who they turn out to be though. 😃

Thank you. I really appreciate your prayers and love. It's been harrowing if I'm honest, and yes, the feeling of powerlessness is overwhelming. 🙏🏼❤️

Oh hey, SoCalDad! Thank you so much. 🙏🏼🥰 My little cherub is flying to Spain with a friend for the first time ever today, so I'm both nervous and proud! I remember the scene in the painting so clearly. She was so small. 😅

Thank you, Shore Bird! 🙏🏼❤️ I'm doing as well as I can be. My Father is very sick though, so it's a very sad time.

Hello, Jen! Thank you for your lovely words of encouragement. It's always an odd feeling to finally finish a painting after many months. My daughter loves it so that makes it easier to transition to something new! She had things to do and places to be at age 1. At age 22 she's no different! 🤭

Thank you, Anne! 🙏🏼❤️ She is finished, to all intents and purposes in that I really can't see what else I can add. I've signed it today which is my cue to leave it alone! 😅

Lol! It's cool isn't it? These guys have fully embraced music theory and are squeezing the beans out of it. 🤭🎸

Maria Jones-Phillips @mariajonesphillipsart.com · 24/03/2026

Yes, and all the great musicians got usurped by the commercial wannabes for a long time.

Maria Jones-Phillips @mariajonesphillipsart.com · 24/03/2026

I'm liking this new wave of brilliant young musicians who are embracing music styles and phrasing from the 60s and 70s and putting a new twist to it. It's how fusion in the 70s should have sounded. It's the healthy dose of historical hindsight that gives musicians now the advantage.

It's looking very 3D on my phone. It's going to be a good painting, love. ❤️

I did pose that question to, as to why I'd let them fall to the background for so long. The answer I got was that channelling my energies into creating art instead during this time was important. It was something I needed to do. Reading the cards again after so long, I have a lot more clarity now.

Maria Jones-Phillips @mariajonesphillipsart.com · 22/03/2026

I like more detail too. It makes readings more in-depth. Ultimately it's the personal connections you make that inspire those flashes of inspiration, which you can't really do if don't have much information to read in the image. That's just me though. 😀👍🏼

110 1

Maria Jones-Phillips @mariajonesphillipsart.com · 22/03/2026

I like them both. Your distinctive styles shines in both of them, but they have very different energies. Your latest itteration is inviting and warm and feels powerful but gentle. I suppose it depends on what lessons you want your Empress to impart. 🙂

This is a very inspiring reading. Because of you I have started doing daily Rune and Tarot readings, which I'm thoroughly enjoying. It's like being reunited with old friends. I'm also formulating ideas for my own deck. I'm grateful, Jack. You have a lovely Sunday too. 🙏🏼🙂

Interesting. Maybe it's a sign that you're feeling that things aren't going fast enough when you get that card, perhaps? Very curious.

Maria Jones-Phillips @mariajonesphillipsart.com · 18/03/2026

Hi Jack 👋🏼 Interesting that you've had the hare and the salamander come up together before, if I remember from one of your videos. Except the hare came up in another card. Curious pairing. 🙂 Salamanders can be very quick movers - the ones I grew up with were. 🦎

Maria Jones-Phillips @mariajonesphillipsart.com · 17/03/2026

Keep at it, Jack. Especially if it's a positive experience for you. Plus, it's always so interesting to get an insight into the world of an artist. Something that is historically like gold dust. All publicity is good publicity. 🤗
