@investigates.thejournal.ie also understands that one legal action has been instigated in the circuit court in relation to such a device. Separately, one man we spoke to said that he believes he contracted a serious lung condition as a result of using one of the machines for around a decade.

Ever use a CPAP or BiPAP? Thousands of sleep and respiratory devices were recalled in 2021 due to a defect related to foam inside them. Our investigation now reveals there have been 70 incident reports in Ireland potentially related to affected machines. Latest by Jane Moore and I:

Today, as part of our series exposing cancer care delays, I reported that adjuvant chemo is not being given to many breast cancer patients on time. When this was put to the Minister of Health, she said there's "no point" in promising extra hospital staff to tackle treatment delays:

So after quite a few weeks investigating Ireland’s culling of badgers to control TB, I found data that shows that a staggering 80% of the protected species killed by the Department of Agriculture were TB free. jrnl.ie/6709659
