What it feels like reading a fic that is so good, I don't want to finish it. I'm just savoring each paragraph with gusto and no rush ~

I think there's no turning back.... Tomorrow whenever I can I'm gonna check all of Wanima's songs. I really like their sound. 😌✨ it's powerful, uplifting, very high energy but they can be soothing too. I love it! 💗 Drive, りんどう, Rolling Days, 眩光, アゲイン and ofc フルボコare so good!

The way I finished 7 webtoons that are all over 100 chapters the past 10 days ... I'm having the best time tbh. 😌 I'm only picked ones that have heaps of chapters or are finished,... Ngl it's like jumping from one world to another.

Ouch, it still hurts not being able to read the WebNovel of Men of the harem for free in Novel Naver anymore... (usually when the serie finish, the chapter become pay to read)

As an avid read of webtoon and WebNovels, when I see the art style change or worsened a tiny bit, my mind just goes to the worst scenario in which the artist's mental and physical health is compromised somehow 😰😓

I just finished The Little Lady Behind the Scenes 🌷✨ It's a fantasy romance #webtoon about a reader getting isekaid in a reverse harem novel. She woke up as the heroine's lil sister — bc she didn't like the ML, her life goal now is to interfere with her sis's love life so she pick someone else 😅

Man, the thing about isekai in an otome is that they starts of with implying that the LIs of the OG otome fall for the protagonist but, the thing is its always very clear for the rest of the story who is Endgame. This reducing the rest of the characters mere pitiful embellish for the heroine sake.

I'll be dropping hsr & genshin 😅. Not for anything related to the game tho. I've been thinking about it for months... considering my limited free time now, I kinda want to catch up to my other hobbies.

I haven't really checked on hsr but, finding out today that they turned Aha into a playable character who's design screams "waifu collectors, throw your wallet",.... Well, Aha kinda lost -1000000000000000 aura to me 😅

I'm reading a manhwa... And I'm supposed to believe that the studios protagonist is broke, has no job and is in debt — despite he owns a 1000€ phone, spends money everyday in the cafeteria, lives alone in a spacious 2 room apartment and also paying for his ill mom's hospital room and meds ?????

I listened to Patient Zero (Taylor swift) and I like it 🥰👏 especially because... It's like what if the ex, the heroine hates so much, turns out to be a good character and the one that tells her the guy she's crushing on was super toxic — what if this ex was a song? Well she'll be Patient zero.💗

I just finished My Love Story!! 🌸✨ It's a slice of life, comedy, high school romance #anime — Contrary to shoujo norms, the MC is the male lead! ✨ This is Takeo's journey of first love, friendships, self acceptance and discovering the joy & pain that comes with love. It's SUPER funny & cozy! 😌❤️

Me when the heroine after YEARS of being string along by her crush (that kept her around to feed his ego of having his own simp while he dates and marry), realized he has manipulated her and thus decided to cut things off ( a resolution that took 60 chapters btw) YET after 3 ch decided to date him :

It's so difficult to filter stories in novelupdate sometimes. Like I just want to check stories that isn't set in a fantasy, historical world, with royalties but, the majority of novels that have these only have trigger warnings in tags. Making excluding tropes / tags useless. Sigh.

Oh yeah, not saying stories with force-pity premises are bad etc. I'm just speaking for myself and why I haven't posted villainess stories as much as before. If you like them, that's totally fair.

010

mari 💐chilling @mari-i.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Ngl lately webtoon / manga that starts of with heroine "wrongly framed", "abbandoned by her fiancé", "was the true saint", "abused by people etc" tropes have lots it's appeal to me. I get this "I'm too tired to be emotionally rage baited" when the story starts that way.
