Great to join Friends of Sunray Gardens yesterday to help clear debris thrown on the iced pond. Unfortunately we will have to wait for it to thaw before the rest can be tackled. Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who work hard helping to keep Sunray Gardens looking its best throughout the year.

Clean, affordable water belongs to all of us. I’ve told the new Environment Secretary to act on real evidence for public ownership and put people first. Join me actionnetwork.org/letters/ask-...

Ask Emma Reynolds to base water policy on facts not water industry fake maths.
Everyone deserves clean, affordable water. Lobbyists say it’ll cost £100bn to bring it back into public hands - but experts disagree. I’ve asked the new Environment Secretary to act on real evidence ...

Labour are building genuinely affordable homes for local people 🏡 Last year more social rent homes were completed in Southwark than in any other London borough 🏗️ Meanwhile no Lib Dem councils in London managed to start building a single new social rent home ❌

Starmer’s response speaks to a real problem: transport costs make a lot of ppl’s lives harder than they need to be and many are forced into costly car dependence. Only long term fix is to focus on providing ppl with transport choices (eg reliable, affordable and accessible public transport).

A £500 million package of support will be available to vulnerable households this winter. I encourage anyone struggling with their bills to contact their supplier to see what extra help is available. More here 👇🏾 www.energy-uk.org.uk/news/energy-...

Very important line here from Transport Secretary Louise Haigh on road safety: "We treat road safety in a way as if it is somehow a natural accident. If the number of people being killed or seriously injured on our roads, were being killed in any other way, we'd be treating it as a pandemic."
