My contribution to indie comics tabling discourse is TCAF tables cost $500. I’m squeezing it for every square foot including airspace! As long as you got comics I don’t care your table has Christmas lights. Just don’t play music.

"NOTHING ENDS" is more love letters from Shin, who confesses he has been unethically researching the Darkness with Drifter. He expresses to us the need to wield the Darkness but not to be seduced by it. A hand reaches out, with great agony to grasp both Power and Nobility. A thorn reforged in light.

"LETTERS FROM A RENEGADE" is a collection of letters from Shin Malphur. The letter has been shot with three Golden Gun shots (the Super invented by Shin himself), the bullets and subsequent flames however darkly forms the visage of the Hive, hinting at their unremovable influence in Shin's story.

Let's start with "FOR EVERY ROSE, A THORN." Thorn was once the gun Rose before it was corrupted by its user, Dredgen Yor, who's mind and sanity fell to Hive Sword Logic. I designed it so a Thorn bullet is splitting a rose down the middle, symbolizing the choice of Power over Nobility.

I don't really like to talk about my design process because I come from the school of show, don't tell. Also I really enjoy interpreting things for myself so I want to give other people that. But it's been a really long time since these original pins were made so let's talk about the emblem designs!

I was gonna get out of this business, but I made some re-issues. A memento for a time passed yet treasured. Will be available at Anime Expo in Los Angeles as well.

My comic is about the time I, a struggling artist alleyer, had a terrible roommate who didn't pay rent and found gainful unemployment as a result. I don't have a proper reader set up but you can read it here: www.margo-faust.com

I'm not gonna argue whether or not AI can do anyone's job better or worse, or what role technology has in human history...but it's obvious an independent creator who has a day job is not gonna out perform a company that only has to focus on the boring money making parts like micromanaging platforms.

Margo X.O Faust ➡️ Thought Bubble UK Redshirt E15 @margofaust.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

The most difficult thing to explain to non-creatives is...the part of the job we DON'T LIKE is the part that makes money. The marketing, the business meetings, the packing, the platform research, the book keeping, and phone calls. We want to keep the operation running so we can work on more art.
