Limping my way round Croydon town centre I counted over 20 boomers with walking sticks/rollators, within an hour’s walking. Ive noticed it in other towns too. What the hell did we do to our knees back in the day to create a tsunami of arthritis sufferers? 😳🤔

Oxygen is released into the atmosphere during photosynthesis. At night, some is consumed again by the tree. But the tree releases more oxygen than it needs itself. Deciduous forests release 15 to./year/ha of oxygen, coniferous forests up to 30 to./year/ha into the atmosphere.🌳🌲

Had a lovely birthday lunch at Bill’s in Wimbledon with my children and my grandson. Very loud and noisy there but we had a good time. My pudding acquired a ‘foreign body’ which I had to remove pdq cause I didnt want candlewax dripping on it😳🤣 Many thanks to Sarah, Philip and Thomas xx

Big old house on #AddiscombeRd in #Croydon has had a major fire, road partly closed. Anyone who lives in the locality will know where I mean, just down the road from the vets, has been derelict for years. Shame because it must have been a lovely building in its heyday.
