Couldn’t watch much of it but did hear him say he’s a man who believes in trust !!

Said he knew he wasn’t getting a job as the numbers didn’t add up , the ones who organised the coup , the ones in the cabinet who stab Starmer in the back and the ones that had to be brought back in .

One guy who sits near me is just like that . Disrupts the whole row . Can only imagine, how much they’d charge anyway.

At the minute, he’s far from the only one who’s found the weight of the jersey too much .

A rainy but very warm welcome in Henleaze this morning. The Bristol North West Labour team and I get out and about all year round to listen to local residents - come rain or shine!

Bristol North West is home to some brilliant high streets - including Gloucester Road, with the longest stretch of independent shops in Europe. The Government is putting power back in the hands of local people, backing local businesses and giving communities a real say over their high streets.

200 constituents joined me at St Monica’s Trust to watch the People’s Emergency Briefing on climate change, followed by an important conversation and Q&A with Dr. Alix Dietzel from the University of Bristol.

This. It only confirms what the majority of us already know but the hard of thinking Reformers could do with watching it. Everyone knows at least one 'white, angry old man', show them.

I thought in general with they’re golden boy in charge, the Starmer critics in the cabinet, would suddenly come alive and show new vigour and energy. Still waiting!

Another £36M donation has been made to Reform, taking the total amount in the last 24 hours to a total of £72M. This is a huge problem for British democracy, and it needs to be addressed. We cannot risk our democracy being sold off to the highest bidder, who sets to benefit from a Reform Government.

Britain is pro-innovation, a world leader in science and a brilliant place to start up a business - especially when using AI. We must get the balance right between this and rightly calling for multi-lateral frameworks for the safe development of technology. 👉 www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

Not enough safeguards in place against people dying in agony either. It’s not only pain ,gasping for breath, lungs filled with fluid, drowning in your own secretions . The list could go on and on .

Disappointing decision again. Improve Palliative Care they cry , when my local hospice was recently nearly bankrupt and can hardly recruit consultants or experienced palliative care doctors.

A packed room with constituents to watch the @nebriefing.bsky.social film and then have a fascinating Q&A with them and Dr Alix Dietzel from @bristoluni.bsky.social. After a summer of extreme heat, and expected extreme weather this winter, we must go further and faster on climate adaptation.

Dolly Parton did all the good she could, for all the people she could, for as long as ever she could. From her legendary songwriting to the Imagination Library—which sent 1 million books a month to children across the country—she was the best of America. Dolly, we'll miss your great heart.

Great to see funding from the West of England Combined Authority helping make a real difference here at the Key Cafe. Through Connect to Work, the Restore Trust will support around 140 people with complex barriers to employment to move into sustainable work.

Tracey Harry and Meghan will crave the headlines themselves as they set up a rival court .The money must have ran out ,as no way was she planning to come back. We agree on many things but before you give her sainthood status, she’s cut her father out of her life since the wedding,a sick old man!

The economy is starting to turn the corner thanks, in part, to the actions of the Labour Government. But the conflict in Iran will increase energy and food prices. It’s right the PM supports people through difficult times while delivering a credible long term plan to improve living standards.
