Yesterday I posted about how I love Indigo app and also use @croissantapp.bsky.social app for cross-posting (like this) to Threads + Bluesky + Mastodon. Well they recently added the ability to group account clusters so now I can choose all 3 accounts for a "persona" with one tap. SO GOOD! 🙏

This is amazing, but seemingly not new: 1. I screenshot my contact card on iPhone 2. AirDrop it to my Mac 3. Finder shows the file "Jason Rudolph.heic". I once knew a Jason Rudolph, but it's not me, and he's not mentioned in my card / screenshot. So… WTAF? (iOS 26.5.2 -> macOS Tahoe 26.5.2).

Thought I'd dig this one out. Pricing worldwide is hard. As a response to this I dropped the monthly sub price to the equivalent of a bottle of water in Egypt and a few other countries. Ads are not an option if you want a good product experience and ethics (what are you advertising?) but I get it.

3 stat review of Shareshot from a user in Egypt reading: The app is suppperr awesome, but the free version having the watermark permanently is ruining it, maybe make 3 exports free for a 60 second ad, or make export without a watermark free but for some backgrounds.
Also, this is my problem i know but the subscription is a bit expensive here in Egypt

No but the services we use do allocate unique ids to devices to tie things together (Bugsnag, RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck only). They don’t even integrate across each other. So maybe I answered that wrong but Apple’s questions seem pretty cleat. The “optional declaration” rules out analytics

We had a lovely potential user get in touch today to ask why we capture "so much" user data according to the App Store privacy panel for @shareshot.app which is surprising. I can see why but we only use anon crash reporting and analytics and answer Apple's questions honestly. Have we answered wrong?
