Both Microsoft and games media seem to be in some kind of shared delusion that Xbox as a brand isn't dead. It's corpse is being propped up on one shoulder by Microsoft's money and the other shoulder the media's need to have Xbox in their news cycle to prolong the console war that drives their clicks
