I'd love to sit down and guide you through a series of episodes building and learning to fly your Mars. No joke.

We'd want the base cooldown of this console to be significantly lower so that it can slap every rotation consistently. 1m might be enough, 30s might be called for, I need to get in the tank on that. But if you want this to be DPRM tier, this needs serious buffs.

Mara Makes Content @maramakescontent.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

Boff cooldown methods need to be consistent. On a full up uncon/vovin build with 7 triggers you'd be able to get this to go off every 30s or so (a little lower actually). This means we would have a 1 cycle gap, as our most important offensive powers on energy weapon builds are 15s powers.

Boimler occupies a trait slot. The magnitude of impact most traits have is MUCH lower than consoles, so the opportunity cost of dropping boims and adding this console is really tight. We have to REALLY have a reason to use this console over boims. Buffing the passive as mentioned solves it

@borticuscryptic.bsky.social feedback on the Trafalgar console - the passive needs to have better uptime (just make it always on tbh). As it is the offensive impact is worse than other stuff we have to manage weapon power consumption, and the range falloff penalty elimination isn't enough

Hey y'all with the current server performance I think I'm gonna postpone my stream for a few weeks. I'm super bummed out but it's pretty much impossible to do any demos right now, and that would cut out a huge bit of the educational value. I don't want to compromise quality. #StarTrekOnline

@borticuscryptic.bsky.social It's worth noting that on advanced, Hellbore Light's performance is not broken, it's quite insignificant. It's the inflated shield health pools on Elite that does this.

000

Mara Makes Content @maramakescontent.bsky.social · 08/07/2025

@borticuscryptic.bsky.social So the first image is on a budget build, the second on a high end build. The issue rn is that 5% Drain on Elite is a BIG. NUMBER. The Ignition component is comparable to other high end traits like Complex Plasma Fires, Corrosive Impact, or Broadside Support.

Mara Makes Content @maramakescontent.bsky.social · 06/06/2025

@borticuscryptic.bsky.social The Battle of Korfez is one of the coolest Elite TFOs y'all have, but there's a rough bug in it on the Turei phase that causes the entire Vaadwuar wave to spawn at once, making it nearly unclearable without aces. It's been around for ages. Any chance it might be fixed?

Fuuuuuuuck it's so hard to get back on the production cycle after being away and doing life and stuff. I'm working on something I promise.

@borticuscryptic.bsky.social I do believe some unfinished content has made its way into the game. Not sure if you've been made aware of this yet. It shows up in the Event Reclaim tab if you own the Pioneer II.

Everyone seems to forget that it was Sci Carriers that dominated solo elites until the magless Krait... which also meant they were just elite monsters in general. The no SecDef=Bad meme is years out of date and an artifact of just how slow knowledge permeates this community.

Hey kids. I've had my surgery. Been recovering for a few hours. Everything's ok, I'm fine, went well. I'll be laid up hard for about a week.

Main projects are things like builds that push the bleeding edge meta, free to play proof of concepts, testing newly released content, stuff like that.

I'm sitting on mine. Anything I'd get would be for a side project of a side project and I'd rather wait and see what I could use it on. Plan on getting the Anni bundle in its entirety but maybe it doesn't end up looking attractive as a whole package? I play smart.
