I’d go with Kevin here. I hadn’t heard of fossils in flint, but the example from that page is convincing. The radial lines in yours are either related to the fossil growth or mineral radial growth replacing the fossil.

Pegged my Mass-cent! I even skipped my “Eastern New England English” dialect words like “tonic” and “bubbler” (“bubblah”) as I don’t use them anymore. Surprised that I pulled LA as being one of my ‘word cities’, but given I’ve lived in the area for over a decade now, it makes sense.

Tough question! Perhaps the Winged Victory of Samothrace in the Louvre. It’s at the top of the main staircase and appeared unexpected to me. I’d been to Greece and knew of this piece, but didn’t expect to see it. Obviously a museum filled with numerous memorable artwork, but it kinda blew me away.

I’m not sure that second weapon is a real rifle. The muzzle is very narrow. Potentially it’s a BB gun or Airsoft AR-15 replica. They’re very realistic looking with those ammo magazines that look like they’re holding bullets, but they’re fake. You can buy different muzzles. Posted a similar one.
