No worries! I had Twitch bug out a month ago and took away all my ad snoozes for 2 months 💀 No reason, just Twitch being Twitch. Couldn't stop ads if anything cool was happening just had to cry 😂

I know Twitch can sometimes falsely flag accounts for bot activity and that can stop notifs from popping up. It goes back to normal after a little while. I doubt it would be that though.

Oh that's interesting. I'm assuming you've checked the filter tab on activity feed to make sure follows are selected. Other than logging in and out, and redoing browser sources I got nothing 😅

And for your alert box what service are you using? Mine is through Streamelements. A lot of the time it’s down to the browser source needing refreshing or permissions need to be connected back up, like being signed into the service providing the source.

Couple questions, what software are you using? Plain OBS, Streamlabs or OBS with streamelements? For things like alerts and stuff.

i made a free panel for you to use in your twitch panels/on your overlay to let people know you are opted out of twitch's generative ai training. free to use, credit is appreciated ❤️ ko-fi.com/s/5a165a2463

11 twitch panels that say "ai opted out" in a bubbly font. the text is white, and each panel has 3 outlines which get slightly darker. the colour options are red, orange, brown, moss green, green, teal, blue, purple, pink, grey, and rainbow.

text says: panels, ai opted out, free on ko-fi, sailorteastudio, sairlortea.art@gmail.com

The more I ponder what Mary said here, I think it is VERY important for those who don't like this EVEN IF YOU DON'T STREAM and want to send a message to Amazon on where the Twitch community falls in the genAI discussion to go in their settings and turn this off. The metrics are what speaks to them.

🚨PSA For Twitch Streamers Moving to YouTube! YT has (unfortunately) automatically enrolled creators in AI features for over a year and you must turn off MULTIPLE settings in YT Studio to avoid it! ➡️Under Advanced Channel Settings, make sure to turn off AI Training, AI Dubbing, + AI Enhancements!

Twitch now uses your channel to train generative AI by default. You can opt out of some training here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Training for Generative AI

Allow your channel content to train generative AI content models at Amazon. Turning this off does not opt you out of Twitch and Amazon using your channel content for other purposes described in the Twitch Privacy Notice, including using AI-supported Twitch features that benefit the community by facilitating streamer growth and monetization (such as real-time sponsorship campaign assistance), viewer discovery (such as recommendations), and community safety (such as AutoMod). Also how does this work with the games and other content being STREAMED how do they get to opt out? Twitch streams games all the time, and many don't want anything to do with AI training.. They get no say here if their content is being sucked in

That sounds way more in line with what it should be! Only other thing to mention is games that require online play also drain the battery quicker too, I disable wifi if I’m playing offline just to squeeze more life out of it 🤣

Maple @maplecatart.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

No worries! I hope it’s just a settings thing, I think Nintendo ran an update out that allowed handheld to output tv resolution and 120 hz for some games which is great but it destroys your battery life 🤣 handheld doesn’t need all that

Maple @maplecatart.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

But if all those things are being done it may be that bad luck and it'll need to be sent in. Cause no matter what you're running an hour is not normal 😥

Maple @maplecatart.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

I don't have my switch 2 on me right now for reference, but could be to do with settings. Turning off HDR, making sure it's not max brightness, and also checking it's not trying to output a TV level of resolution cause the smaller screen doesn't need the settings to be that high undocked.

Theres just so much personality to all the characters and NPCs too, going in you don’t expect it to be as in depth as it is and I 100% agree it’s my favourite depiction of Sherlock I’ve seen yet.

But was also so heart wrenching to watch! I knew it was going to get dark as it went on cause that’s the usual thing for lovecraft but still 😭 Chapter one was so fun too! I honestly had such a fun time dressing up Watson as an icecream man and doing the elephant mission 🤣 so freaking wild man!

Sherlock interacting with lovecraftian lore in Awakened and being pulled into the world that can’t be understood bending his own mind beyond his limits is just so cool. I love seeing him and Watson trying to understand what the heck is going on but just slowly losing themselves. +

Right?! The quality of the recent ones have blown me away considering it’s a small indie studio based out of Ukraine. I honestly just love everything they’ve put into it. I love actually having to problem solve and investigate rather than just check what the next step is in the quest.

I LOVE these games!! My favourite is Awakened but I'm a cthulhu nerd so it was such a fun twist. I haven't met anyone else that's played the series 😂 it's os niche but such amazing quality honestly. I love the company that makes them. Excited for Sinking City 2 in a month, that's their next game 😍

Maple @maplecatart.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Thank you so much for such awesome games! Two Point Hospital really brought me back to me playing Theme Hospital when I was a kid and is still one of my favourites to date! Can't wait to see what you guys have in store 🧡

The reason why the sketchy drawing is better than AI reference are the economical choices made. The person only drew what was most important and nothing else which gives clear direction! Please do more of this!
