My specific target was profile i3 in Open Problem VI.1 of Bénéteau, Goluboff, Kölsch & Vaghasiya. That profile would have 29 non-bent components. The proof rules it out. The next possible count is 33, so at most 222 of the 255 nonzero components can be bent.
