I'm a little concerned about the geological state of the western hemisphere, based on this still from the Jetsons' opening credits. Texas and all of the west coast seem to be missing from north america 😱

Alaska's flag may not have the excellent colors of NM or AZ, but I love it. Simple, elegant, obviously what it is, and yes, designed by a school kid.

Ah, so this is what people mean when they say "find your community"...
People are losing the spirit of the Ides of March. It's not about just stabbing. It's about coming together to stab in groups.

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me, eleven ants a-ranching, ten gnomes yadda yadda ya. #VintageVictorianChristmasCards
A vintage Christmas card showing a group of ants portrayed as peasant farmers. The ants are walking upright on two legs, wearing traditional eastern European "peasant" clothing, and leading aphids like livestock. Several ants are carrying sheaves of some kind of vegetation, while another is carrying two buckets. Many of the ants are in "family" groups, with one or two larger "adult" ants and one or two smaller "child" ants. The caption reads "The evening return, ants and their cattle". The words "The compliments of the season" are embedded into the picture three separate times.

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, nine dinos laughing, eight wild orchestral yadda yadda ya. #VintageVictorianChristmasCards
A vintage Christmas card showing a group of Victorian-imagined dinosaurs (that is, we now believe they looked much different than the Victorians believed they looked) and other ancient reptiles surrounding a stone block engraved with the words "The compliments of the season". From left to right, the creatures appear to be a crocodile, a sauropod, an ichthyosaur, a megalosaur (depicted as a quadruped instead of the modern depiction as a biped), a pterosaur, a plesiosaur, an iguanodon (again, a Victorian-era depiction), another crocodilian, and another pterosaur. The creatures are viewing a drawing of a human male in Victorian-era clothes, including a top hat and what appears to be a handheld umbrella/walking stick. The creatures are laughing at the drawing. The caption reads "Ideal impression of a future creation discovered by Professors Ichthyosaurus and Megalosaurus".
