The thing is, Americans electing Trump a second time when he was so obviously an awful choice has made it not clear at all what a successful candidate looks like, not just for Republicans but for the general election. Everything has been turned on its head.

I recall the WSJ ran daily opeds on Whitewater during the Clinton years and even offered a hardcover(?) compendium at one point. Media should all have dedicated pages/sections/features on Trump corruption updated daily or at least weekly. There is certainly enough material.

True but one issue is that in general price is no longer an indicator of quality like it used to be, at least in my personal experience. E.g. paying 10% to maybe 30% more and hoping for higher quality. If you pay multiples of average cost it might still be true. Results in a race to the bottom.

A socialist needs to somehow run as a Republican in these states. When they're accused of being a socialist they can say things like "I believe in Republican ideals like raising wages and getting people healthcare" and fox newsers will be like "yeah sounds right".

Good content! Not sure what the answers are. IMO these are mostly driven by social media unnaturally concentrating kids in one area. Maybe an answer somehow get a number of them trending on any given night so none get too big. As one of the kids pointed out, heavily policed events aren't it.

I dislike floating holidays because the rest of the org doesn't stop or at least slow down like it does for full fledged holidays. Turns a holiday into a vacation day, which is better than work day but means people are out there piling up things I have to deal with first thing next workday morning.
