RIP to John Blanche, the best to ever do it. Before Warhammer was even Warhammer he understood what it was: weird, gross, unsettling, maximalist.

Long time no play, and first time in this edition, but quite satisfied in how dearly my #astramilitarum troopers hold the line. Two platoons of base line infantry for Lemartes, 1 squad of marine assault veterans, and 2 units of primaris is a bargain! #warhammercommunity #playingwarhammer

Setup for 1000 points warhammer 40K grand, with a big ruined temple in the middle, scattered smaller ruins around and two armies: Blood Angel space marines in red and black armor on the right, and Imperial Guard in grey and green on the left

A heroic command platoon of five men, carrying a red and blue banner, charges a huge bipedal dreadnought mech in the company of a back leather clad commissar

The brave last survivor of a platoon holds his ground against five psychotic marines led by a fanatical chaplain

Despite the arrival of a heavy weapons reinforcing squad, the battle is decided when the dreadnoughts finally hit the artillery at the last line

Not a kit for people in a hurry, but I’m certainly loving the way all the details are getting together. I’m still wondering whether to paint those columns in a bit lighter color, though… #paintingwarhammer #warhammercommunity

Plastic model of a 28mm scale ruined church with cloister and two big statues on both sides of the main gate

The corner of the cloister in the previous photo, being painted with dark grey columns, deep red walls, and bronze windows and metal bracings. Most of the minor elements (cables, ventilators) are not fully painted yet

#wip weekend with the #bloodangels#warhammercommunity #paintingminiatures I kinda like this tone of red much more than the original one, it’s so much… bloody

Almost ready for the last little touches. My first #ageofsigmar mini had so many little details that it looks like I’ll never get to finish it 😅 #wip #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer

Not too bad after almost ten years without painting any minis, I hope #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer
