I'm planning a road trip to Mile High Comics in September and I need your honest advice and/or opinions. Is it worth taking a 25hr road trip to visit MHC? Are there god deals? Is anyone in or near MHC and would like to meet up? I wanna know.

Just got out from seeing Brand New Day. I'm not going to say it is the best superhero movie ever made because that's a matter of opinion, but to me, it's the PUREST comic book movie ever made! It's literally a comic book come to life. Jack Kirby, Stan Lee and Gene Colan must be smiling in Heaven.

Let's do something fun, if you were in charge of hiring the lead in a movie based off an indie property you love, which indie property would it be and who would you cast? I'm going with Black Mask's Everfrost, and I'd cast Tessa Thompson as Van Louise.

Hope y'all are having an Astonishing week. To those watching Spider-Man: BND, I hope you have a great time! Expect the movie to have some Prime action, some Blue scenes, hearts of Gold and some Uncanny surprises. Anyhow, here are two incredible illustrations of Jean Grey for no reason at all. 😏

Last weekend I was at a comics and cards show in Virginia, and I managed to find one of my grails or sought after books: Curse of the Spawn no.12; the 1st Appearance of Jessica Priest (aka. She-Spawn). Ya'll have a non-traditional "grail" book you own or want?

X-Men United no.3 is one of those examples of a comic having beautiful cover art and terrible interior art. Man oh man... in the words of the Hall of Fame basketball star Charles Barkley: "That's Turrible!"

If your kids love Godzilla, or Spider-Man, or Sonic the Hedgehog, or Supergirl, get them some comics based on their favorite characters and watch them be transported to a far away land with their imagination. Not only are comic books fun, but they're also a fantastic gateway to literacy.

Took the family to Barnes & Noble tonight. My 11-year-old and my 16-year-old got Vols. 25-28 of Jujutsu Kaisen, my 6-year-old got a badass Godzilla action figure and I got DC Compact Comics Catwoman: Trial of the #Catwoman.

I like the idea of Beast's X-team being the official "Science Team" of the X-Men. They currently have the New Orleans team and the San Francisco team led, but they need to officially name them the Blue and Gold teams, and give Beast's team White to represent labcoats.

She-Spawn no.2 is so damn good! Her highness @comixgail has me hooked with an intriguing story and a look behind the curtain on how Jessica Priest's mind works, also, @igguara and Robert Nugent's art on this book... my goodness is gorgeous!!! #shespawn #spawn

Comicbook geekdom is an ecosystem and each part of that ecosystem is just as important as the next. What's the ecosystem you ask? Well, in no particular order... 1. Publishers 2. Creators 3. Reviewers 4. Fans 5. Cosplayers 6. Comic Shops 7. Distributors 8. Libraries 9. Content Creators

I feel like @disney should take Billi Lourd's character (Kaydel Ko Connix) and make her a major part of the next Star Wars movies. She should take on a major leadership role and I think fans would love it. Billie is beautiful, talented and she's already part of the #starwars family.

There were some fantastic books that came out this week, but The Ultimates no.23 was a beautiful surprise. I was definitely not expecting nor prepared for this book. I'd love to see the entire Norse sagas told in this format, with this art; it'd be amazing!

DID YOU KNOW: There was a superhero named Kaliman "The Incredible Man" who had a long comic book run in Mexico throughout the 60s-80s, and even fought Marvel characters like #TheThing, #DrDoom and #Galactus!

I'm not the type of comic book reader/collector who normally buys multiple covers of the same book, but it sure is great having multiple choices to choose from. For example, the upcoming issue of #Vampirella... I mean, any vover I go with I win! It's good to have choices.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, #IlonaMaher should be Big Barda in #JamesGunn #DCU. At least let her audition, because my goodness was she born to play her! Btw, she's a pro Rugby player (probably the best!), with a huge following and she's very charismatic. I think she'd be perfect!
