Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 08/12/2025As I’m approaching 2026 and reflect on what’s ahead of me, I like to come back to first principles: 👉 optimising for happiness 👉 optimising for challenging work 👉 optimising for positive dent on the universe Not in a self-help way, but as a selection mechanism. 010
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 19/09/2025Shipped my second newsletter issue. It's rough. But it's real. This week: Why your LLM is nondeterministic, Warp's new AI agents, and Microsoft hedging their OpenAI bet. cmpld.ai/issues/002/ 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 28/08/2025That moment when you realize you've been doing pwd → manually copying the path like a caveman 🦴 Just add this to your shell config: alias pwc="pwd | pbcopy" Now "pwc" instantly copies your working directory to clipboard. Such a simple thing but it genuinely sparks joy every time I use it. 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 22/08/2025🔥 The ability to keep chatting with Claude Code whilst it's executing tasks is a bigger deal than it sounds. Every other LLM blocks input during execution. Claude Code just... doesn't. You remember something? Add it. Requirements change? Update them. No restart needed. 010
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 10/08/2025"It doesn't feel like the #AI future is near because... checks notes ...Google Workspace Support just responded to 'Can I downgrade?' with an essay about AI features and price increases, never answering the question. We've achieved artificial intelligence but somehow lost actual intelligence... 021
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 04/08/2025 hit 10 stars on the product as code repo today ⭐ "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" and all that but genuinely excited - each star is a developer who sees the same broken workflow we do #ProductAsCode #ai 101
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 29/07/2025🛠️ Coming soon: PAC CLI v0.1.0 > pac init > pac create epic "user-auth" > pac validate Version-controlled product management that your AI coding assistants can actually understand. The future is git-native product development 🚀 github.com/productascod... #productascode #ai 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 28/07/2025Conversations with Claude Code. Always worth asking... #buildinpublic 031
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 27/07/2025I always loved Conventional Commits. Time to start using new type "ai". #BuildInPublic #AI 021
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 25/07/2025“Life is like a box of… chips” 😂 when i let autocomplete till the end 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 20/07/2025The most annoying "feature" of Claude in desktop app by far is the fact that it is not great at rewriting and updating documents. It messes them up a lot, to the point that I have to ask it to write it from scratch. 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 17/07/2025Just got Claude AI running in Docker container with full browser terminal access. Implications are huge - work on a project remotely as long as you have full #ProductAsCode set up. #BuildInPublic #AI 142
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 07/07/2025With #productascode updating docs can be as simple as that. 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 07/07/2025I managed to hit the context window limit for Claude Pro which is currently 200k+ tokens (about 500 pages of text or 100 images)... 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 06/07/2025This actually feels quite good. Managing my product in code. 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 04/07/2025I am working on a new idea, as one does. I used Gemini 2.5 to give me feedback on the idea. I then asked Claude what it thought about its quality: "The response seems designed to make you feel good about the idea rather than help you understand what you're really up against." 😂 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 24/06/2025"Everything will be fine in the end. If it's not fine, it's not the end." I can't remember who said that, but it's my go-to when things go wrong. I just ask myself: "Will I be laughing about this in 6 months?" Almost always yes. Focus on actually solving the problem. 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 23/06/2025Ever since I started using #Redux for the first time around 2016, I held the belief that not all app state belongs in the central state store. There are some ephemeral state updates that are short-lived and shouldn't live in Redux - like form state, modal visibility, or temporary UI interactions. 100
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 15/06/2025It's 2025 and we're still getting cryptic error messages like this one. Apple's UI/UX is usually polished, but error handling? Still feels like we're debugging in the 90s. But then again, what do I know! They have $2T business, not me 😂 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 27/04/2025Sometimes you walk into the bookstore and you immediately know what you gonna read next… 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 04/04/2025We haven’t finished with #ai revolution and here comes another one. Imagine one day Quantum AI... 010
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 05/03/2025Suddenly, it doesn't feel like I did a lot 😂 #buildinpublic 040
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 25/02/2025The days of tedious codebase documentation could be gone forever. The combo of Cursor 0.46.3 + Claude 3.7 Sonnet Thinking is a game-changer - it helps me quickly navigate unfamiliar codebases without tapping teammates on the shoulder. #ai #coding 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 11/02/2025This is beyond brilliant: in order to use Deepseek API, ... you have to use OpenAI SDK 😂 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 03/02/2025"What is a famous picture of a man standing in front of a tank?" This is the question I asked simultaneously to: 1. Claude 3.5 Sonnet 2. GPT-4o 3. o1 4. DeepSeek R1 See if you can guess which one is which? There are no points for guessing R1 though... #coding #buildinpublic #ai #llm 030
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 03/02/2025Wow - what a relief! I just read Deepseek’s privacy statement, which basically says: "We store the information we collect in secure servers located in the People's Republic of China." Comforting, right? Then again, USA have no clue what GDPR is, so they are not better at all. #buildinpublic 120
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 22/01/2025Post mortem and criticism by cursor.ai and Claude. After a long time of running in circles, finally some old school debugging techniques got us out of the hole. #buildinpublic 120
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 19/01/2025This looks a bit peculiar to me. I am looking at you #digitalocean... 000
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 19/01/2025Working with claude and CursorAI last night. Results? From 0 to >80% test coverage in Node.js server in under 2 hours. I call it a win! #buildinpublic 1100
Michael Antczak @mantcz.com · 16/01/2025I am playing with LangChain and Langgraph and I must say it's been fun so far. So much goodies are hidden under the hood, which makes our lives much easier. Well done! 210
