I'm so far behind. I was upset that hamburger was $8.99 a pound. We just came out of the grocery store, a Kroger low price store, and hamburger is $10.99 a pound. They no longer have 3 lb packages. They dropped it to two lb packages. Then they increased the fat content from 20% to 25%. Cheaper.

STREET PROTEST- VOTE BLUE THEME: END THIS NIGHTMARE My wife I were out on day 8 of 8 to get out the vote. It was a bodacious superfragilistic success. The entire 16 lane intersection was lit up in a cacophony of horns. I love this setup because MAGA driving by have their tails between their legs.

Here is one of my favorite carvings of serpents, a door panel on a Norwegian Church from 1600 carved in 1/4 scale. Seven layers of serpents and Vines intertwining.

Yes, the Osberg ship. Get this. My mentor for Viking carving was the guy who was selected from the entire world to carve the replica. Marine carpenters built the replica using hand tools & old techniques. Took them over 2 years to build the ship. Actually put it in the water. It's now at the museum.

Yes, that's the one I thought I would do in 1 hour and it took a week. If you want to see detail, here is a viking carving that took 2 mm chisels to complete. The right side is the bow, left side the stern of a Viking ship discovered in Norway, in a burial mound from 800 AD. Original 15 ft high.

Some more jewelry done in PNW Salish design. I had to laminate, turn the bracelet before I was able to lay out and carve the design. Yellow cedar and red cedar.

Cool. Yes, dragons will do. I messed around a little bit with sandblasting glass images. It's something I would like to explore more. Holds incredible detail. I carved some jewelry for my wife. I thought I could do it in 1 hour, it took me a week for one piece. Use a pin vise to hold work.

Every tooth is cut on a scroll saw by hand. You can't make a single mistake, not even the angle of each tooth. Probably close to 800 teeth on this one clock.

You saw the child's pose carving I did in Walnut. I used some of the Walnut for the base of an epicyclic clock I built. Similar to a rear end differential on a truck, one gear circles around another gear & another one circles inside the gear. The circular inserts are made of Walnut also. Infinity.
