Glad you're back Liz. Easily it was the 2 hours or so I spent chatting with the gentlemen on the bomb disposal stand, really really interesting, it was almost a battle of its own. when one side managed to work out a fuse the other changed it. Fascinating stuff.

The most excellent A26 Invader owned by Marcin Kubrak flown by John Dodd at the @shuttleworthtru.bsky.social Military Airshow in the pouring rain. It was a very good display in the conditions, I 1st saw this in the early 90s at the CWHMuseum in Hamilton (pre fire) great to see it again.

Turn the symbol through 45 degrees & it means something very different. My issue is the symbol is a focal point, and unfortunately attracts idiots. And if it upsets the Wehraboos leaving it off then I am all for it. I hope we can discuss this over a beer someday

My concern though is that by erasing these we may end up forgetting the crimes. So their is a place for them but it must be in context with an explanation of the crimes they stood for. If I was in your shoes, for a picture in my own home, I would do exactly the same.

I dont want to be THAT guy but there were 22 B24 Bomb Groups in the 8th AF in the UK, it could fly higher than the B17 but was easier and happier flying lower hence why they didn't fly mixed formations. Agree B17 not all that though! See you at WHW Fest, buy you a pint. @theaviation.show

I love it all, from Test to One day to T20, from the Under 12s to the Village XI on the Village Green. The Hundred is a different format that is designed for TV, not sure if that's good or bad but its still cricket.
