I don't think most Americans realize how hard tariffs are about to hit them. The combination of 1) escalating tariffs, 2) companies slowly passing the cost to consumers, and 3) the repeal of the de minimis exemption in the Big Beautiful Bill, a lot stuff will be more expensive in 2027.

Made a new-to-me recipe tonight that kind of blew my mind: almond tortellini made with a filling of almonds and cooked-down Aborio rice instead of ricotta. They're finished in a simple butter sauce, and it all worked pretty brilliantly. 🍜

might end up making yourself. And trust me, this country needs whatever art you have to offer. It doesn't have to be a TV show; you don't have to be rich and powerful to make it.
It can be a short story, or a painting, or a song, or even a new recipe. All that matters is that you made it with love and care and that you protect it. That act alone is enough to keep art alive, even when so many others want it dead.

Making these giant ravioli was an adventure, but they mostly came out okay, and that's good enough for me.
