Artist! Show your long hair art! (Oh this is 10 years old 🤡 but I still really like it) (Also hi! 👋)

Disney's Rapunzel and Wreck-It-Ralph dressed in each other's clothes, standing side by side and looking at each other. Rapunzel is wearing a red/orange checked shirt and brown overalls, holding his hero medal in her right hand and looking amused. Ralph, is wearing a pink and purple dress with lace trims, holding her frying pan in his massive right hand with his arms crossed over his chest, and he does not look amused. Her extremely long hair rests on the floor and loops around them both.

Aaand I just had to tweak the lineart for Bokuto as well while I was at it! 🏐 #art #screencapredraw #haikyu #haikyuu #bokuto

Screencap redraw of Bokuto from the Haikyu!! anime, on a grey background. He has round, golden-coloured eyes and spiky light grey hair with black streaks, making him look like a horned owl. He's seen from above, looking over his shoulder and up at the viewer, and smiling. The lineart is thinner than on the previous version.

After I finished Tendou I decided to tweak the Kuroo redraw from a couple of years ago. The lineart was too thick, he looks so much better like this! 🏐 #art #screencapredraw #haikyu #haikyuu #kuro #kuroo

Screencap redraw of Kuroo from the Haikyu!! anime, on a white, glowy background. It's a close-up shot mostly of his face during a match, but his spiky black hair and parts of his white uniform with a red collar and black stripes on the shoulders are visible. His expression is intense and there are beads of sweat on his face. The lineart is thinner than on the older version.

Found this sweet little thing resting on our windowsill today. I worried he was lost and next door's cat would get him, but he seemed OK and ended up leaving all by himself after resting in the sun… and trying to munch on this big weed 😆 I'm guessing it was a juvenile exploring the garden? So smol 🥹

Messy sketch of Jin from the Samurai Champloo anime, done in blue pencil, on a light grey background. His eyes aren't drawn yet but if they were he'd be staring at the viewer. He's lifting his hand to point at the viewer.

A year ago exactly, I finally discovered #KeepingTime (everyone else was already reading it, wth was I doing...? 🤨) and started bugging the super lovely @kodyisover.com on the regular 😆 I've drawn a few pieces I'm still very happy with, hope I get to draw more in the future!

Happy 15th anniversary to Transfusions! 🥳 I've been a reader for years and years, and I drew guest fanart back in 2018. If you've been reading the epilogue, you know why I'm tickled by this old drawing of mine 😉 And if you haven't yet, now's the perfect time to catch up!! #transfusionscomic 🩸

Nothing to post about lately (art block plus… well, everything happening everywhere 😔) so I thought I'd share some of my garden flowers. Maybe they'll help brighten someone's day 💖

A small-ish hydrangea shrub, with three large heads of dark pink flowers with white edges, and lots of bright green leaves.

A week ago I shared my first attempt at a mini comic, and I wanted to share the thumbnails because... well 🤣 Also, to the various people who told me giving #comics a go would be fun? I hate you. (you were right)

Comically simple red pencil thumbnails for a 4-panel comic.
Panel 1 shows two figures (with the initials "D" and "J" on their heads, for Denver and Josh).
Panel 2 shows the same figures, a bit more to the left, and two stick figures floating in the top right corner ("M" for Michael and "J²" for Jez).
Panel 3 is empty 😆
Panel 4 shows that the camera angle has changed, "J²" and "M" are at the front, "J" and "D" are now stick figures floating in the top right.

Fanning the flames! 💪🔥 The first sketch is from 2018. I've wanted/tried to tweak it many times but I finally got it the other day. It's not perfect, but 2025 is going to be the year of "better done than perfect" because I have Too Many WIPS!! 😩 #art #ocs

Grey pencil sketch (with a rougher, lighter, red sketch underneath) of my OC Josh sat at a table/desk, with his elbows resting on the surface, supporting his head in one hand and holding a pencil (that he's chewing on) in the other.

Updated version of the same sketch. I've changed the hand holding the pencil, de-wonkified his face and changed his clothes. There's also a small heart drawn to the left of his head.

Redraw of a panel from the webcomic Keeping Time: a blond punk with a neck tattoo, wearing a leather jacket over a Led Zeppelin T-shirt, on a purple background. He's pointing at himself, with a slightly bemused expression. There's text over his right shoulder that reads: "Guitar boy?"

Colour drawing of my OC Josh dating back to 2007 (!!). He's in a library, with a very full bookcase behind him. He's resting both elbows on the table in front of him and resting his chin on his hands, looking pensive. Definitely not studying.

I like bringing back this Viktor Nikiforov for Christmas Day 🎄😉 I was SO proud of him... and so annoyed I completely lost interest once it was time to colour him 😓 #art #yurionice #yoi

Uncoloured lineart of Viktor Nikiforov from Yuri!!! on Ice, on a white background. He's reclined across a large, old-looking armchair, with one arm resting on one side and his legs on the other. He's wearing a loosely tied and rather short bathrobe, smiling at the viewer (assumed to be Yuri, on Christmas Day), and looking very relaxed. His gold ring is visible and there's a small gift bag hanging off one of his feet.
