My work for @alinxhen.bsky.social's masquerade ball trade!! Beautiful Grace, the grape fairy, for @feuertopfgaming.bsky.social. absolute joy, getting to draw a beautiful chubby lady who OWNS it

Illustration of a chubby woman standing on a balcony at night, surrounded by foliage. She is being illuminated by warm light falling on her through a large window. She is wearing a flowy but very skimpy sheer skirt and a top made of grapes and golden elements, displaying an "everyone perceive me" pose

Hosted a masquerade themed arttrade event and now I can finally reveal the drawing I did for @themimicontrol.bsky.social !! 🩷🥹 Aya is so gorgeous, very happy that I finally got to draw her ✨️🩷 [ #art #oc #ocsky #digitalart #fantasy #illustration ]

Digital illustration of a fair skinned woman with long pink hair that is flowing in the wind. She's wearing a long dark blue ballgown and a masquerade mask. Two golden feathered wings extend from her back. It is nighttime and the full moon is up in the sky, illuminating the scene. The woman is standing on stone stairs, leaning on the railing.

I'm SO happy you like it so much! 😭🥹❤️❤️❤️ I thought a 'simple' elegant look would fit her well 🥺 and the stained glass mask in her refs was just too stunning to not take it as my main inspiration! 💕💕💕

I cry, thank you so much 🥹💕 I struggled so much with starting but I'm happy enough with the result! And I'm so glad you like it! ❤️

I love it soooo much!!!! 🥹💕💕💕 She's my perfect little princess! And your "90s magical girl manga" -style fits her sooooo well!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!!! 😭💕💕💕 I will cherish this forever

They're all super pretty (as is your art in general!) and Im sure they'll look amazing with the gold foil on them!

If you want input, I think I like 1,2 and 6 the most! But they honestly all work well

Also I'm sorry @ everyone who followed me for art and now just gets artistic burnout from me

040

Maybe I can try to do a similar thing with drawing, find some joy in it with doing it very deliberately or something, idk yet. I also think I really need to draw stuff for myself. Always feels so much harder than art for other people but I think making something for me would help...

But I finally started one two days ago (a little outside pressure bc I have a 'bookclub' with two other people) and I'm enjoying it a lot so far! Sat down with it, listened to calm ambient music, ate a little snack and later read some more in the bathtub. Already halfway through it now oops

Tangentially related to my problem with making art, I've had the same problem with reading. Also not sure why because I absolutely LOVED reading when I was younger, devoured books in record time etc etc. Haven't finished a book in years now.

I think somehow creating art has become a chore for me in my head. Just another thing on my to-do list that I need to do. And it has sucked all the joy out of it. I'm not sure how to combat that effectively. But I would like to enjoy creating again and not just get through it to have a nice result
