iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Doodle I did for a class project last month. I will hopefully post some more stuff soon.

Small girl in a big, hooded cloak/cape, with a note to myself saying I like BIG cape and hood.

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I remember back when I first tried digital art and I was using krita and hated it, I thought the program was nice but just couldn’t wrap my head around it. It’s been pleasantly surprising how nostalgic it’s been messing around in there since redownloading it.

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

It’s weird to think that any art you make of your ocs/stories is technically official art for them…

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I didn’t post anything in August even though I’m trying to get more consistent about posting… anyways here’s a doodle from about a year ago since I have not made anything I feel is worth sharing in a while.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Looking back it was a mix of burnout of dnd hyperfixation… although the world of their story is fantasy it’s definitely not dnd.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

They so silly idk why I stopped drawing her as much as I used to.

Sketch of an oc, she is part cat, not fully your usual level of furry level anthro, but more anthro than your usual anime cat girl but you can’t really see that since it’s just their head sticking its tongue out in a way cats often do.

I didn’t set up any of my characters on art fight yet… so far I haven’t been able to get on the site today so I guess it gives me extra time to work on the reference sheets for them I’ve been avoiding making.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Realizing I hadn’t posted any art yet this month… I was messing with her color palette a bit here, I’m pretty set on brown hair I just keep switching the shade. This is from earlier in the month, I’m planning on making a full body of her soon but we’ll see if i actually do. #sketchbook #oc

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I DID IT! I’m still setting up but I’ll post after I’ve done a bit more work on it.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

I GET MY COMPUTER BACK MONDAY! Now to hope that I actually make an art fight account on there instead of playing bg3 and farming games and forgetting all June and July like last year.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

I’m hoping that by posting about it, I’ll actually remember.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

I keep forgetting to make an art fight account even though I’ve wanted to join it for years now. My computer is in the shop and I imagine it’s easier to set up on there so I’m gunna wait a little longer before just making’s it on my phone or iPad instead (assuming I don’t forget about it by then).

I finally drew this oc with him turning out how i picture him in my head! #sketch #traditionalart #sketchbook #oc

Sometimes sketching in color fixes art block. Only sharing the one that I feel turned out best though. #sketchbook #ocart #traditionalart #sketch #art

Sketch of my dnd gnome oc made with erasable colored pencil.

040

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

That’s not including posts where I’m not posting an oc.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

I’m pretty happy with how this sketch turned out, especially since I haven’t been drawing this oc consistently since 2021. I think this may be the only post of made of a non-dnd oc, which I technically have more of, I’m just less focused on recently #sketchbook #tradtionalart #oc #art #sketch

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 28/02/2026

Since I haven’t posted this month here’s a last minute post of two pieces of two ocs I drew in my sketchbook recently that I like enough to post. #oc #tradtionalart #sketchbook

020

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

Drew them again but with color, I didn’t use the exact colors I was expecting to for most of it but I like these colors better for the most part. The colors look a little different in person but they’re still ok in the photo #art #oc #traditionalart #alcoholmarkers

Head bust of a tiefling oc of mine. It’s colored in warm colors, mostly being shades of red and orange, though the oranges look a bit more pink in person.

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

Practicing color theory with my markers using an intentionally messy doodle, turned out better than I was expecting but still have a long way to go. #art #traditionalart #alcoholmarkers #practice #oc

Messy colored doodle of an elf. Mostly colored in various types of purple, green used for skin.

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

I like how I got this app to post my art to make me draw more and I just haven’t posted much… to be fair I don’t like most of my stuff enough to post it minus a few doodles here and there. That said I will be forcing myself to post more this year so that it’ll hopefully get me working more on art.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

I like how this doodle turned out minus the clothes I put zero effort in, but pretty ok for absolutely no effort I guess.

020

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

I have once again remembered about this app… I feel kinda bad that I just completely forgot it existed for a while lol.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 10/09/2025

No finished pieces or practice pieces I like enough to post so doodle I made in class yesterday.

030

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 06/09/2025

Why the hell did I think having three writing classes this semester was a good idea? IM NOT EVEN TALING ANY CLASSES FOR ONE OF MY INTENDED MAJORS THIS SEMESTER! Granted one of my writing classes is a required course so i only chose two but still!

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

I haven’t been posting much recently because I’ve been busy so not making much art, hopefully I’ll post more soon.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

They could believably be any gender, but based on clothes I’d say probably dudes, but I wouldn’t really be surprised if they were girls though. I think some of the confusion might be from the posing since people often will look at the chest for boobs when it’s hard to tell (not always good to tho).

120

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

They look pretty androgynous, but the bodies look a bit more masculine while their faces look a bit more feminine, still androgynous but like on a scale of feminine to androgynous to masculine those features would be on slightly different parts of said scale. Sorry if that was a bad explanation.

120

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 14/08/2025

Also she currently has a pet skeleton equipped that came with the name Baby Boomer, it feels like it’s probably offensive but I honestly don’t care because it’s funny.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 14/08/2025

I love that as a kid before I knew what trans people were, I made my main wizard in Wizard101 the colors of the trans flag. I also unintentionally gave her a badass last name since I couldn’t read back then. Thank you kindergarten self. (She’s still my main, but she has a rainbow unicorn mount now.)

110

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 14/08/2025

The end product ended up looking terrible but was so much fun that I love it anyways. Probably gonna use more guides on my canvas next time.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 14/08/2025

Really frustrated at my art so I decided to try to start drawing a bunch of boxes. I’ve been avoiding doing this despite how helpful I’ve heard it is because it seemed boring but it’s actually really fun! I’m just doing what’s visually noticeable on this one but my next batch will be the full cubes.

020

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 13/08/2025

Thinking on it a lot of my struggles involve low confidence…

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 13/08/2025

So far the hard part about posting art is feeling confident enough about my art enough to post it…

100

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 05/08/2025

I just realized I’m gunna need to watch anatomy tutorials since I skill regressed from not doing any full bodies in so long… I just need a refresher and trying on my own is not helping so hopefully a video will.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 05/08/2025

I keep it in my closet so I forget about it a lot…

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 05/08/2025

I just remembered I have an owlbear plushie I bought at a local comic/game store a couple years ago that I still haven’t named yet. The lighting sucks and I’m using my pillow to hide the mess that is my room but here’s the photo if anyone was curious what the stuffed critter looks like.

110

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

Me: I should practice drawing more than head busts because I need to get better at anatomy Also me: I’m bad at drawing the rest of the body so I’m not gunna do that.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

I just noticed I didn’t post this. While it’s not perfect i noticed her colors were off so I edited it to make it better since it bugged me. It’s still off but it’s close enough it doesn’t bother me to look at.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 03/08/2025

Realized I haven’t posted any art in a week so I’m forcing myself to post something. This was a practice piece to get more familiar with alcohol markers since I don’t feel super confident with them yet. Anyways unfinished Karlach. #traditionalart #BG3 #fanart #art #practicepiece #unfinishedart

041

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

It wasn’t even a repost either, not that my stuff really gets reposted I just expect it’d be less weird to see.

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

I just learned that it’s weird seeing something I posted when I’m not specifically looking for it. Idk why it popped up while scrolling, especially given how little likes it has, but it was certainly a jarring experience.

110

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

I did end up kinda finishing it, got lazy with the background and just used a blank dnd character sheet since she’s a dnd character I haven’t used yet. If I ever remake this piece I’ll probably use one I’ve put her stats and other info on. #digitalart #procreate #ocart #art #dnd

041

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

While I’m not entirely sure I like it as an art piece, it was fun to make and I definitely like it a lot more than any previous digital art pieces. It’s not finished and I dunno if I even will finish it, but I’m happy that I was able to have fun making it. #digitalart #procreate #ocart #art

030

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

I haven’t used my ipad in months because I pretty much only use it for digital art which I don’t do often. I went to use it since I want to try digital again only to find that my apple pencil was dead… THIS THING HAS BEEN CHARGING FOR MONTHS AND IT DIDNT CHARGE THE PENCIL WITH IT?

010

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

Any tips for getting used to digital art? I’m currently using procreate on my iPad but I’ve also used Krita on my laptop. I usually don’t bother making any finished pieces (then again I don’t make many traditionally either) because I get frustrated with the program and give up. #art #artadvice

011

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

I just realized I forgot the freckles on her ears… oh well I’ve already posted it, still gunna fix it in my sketchbook though.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

Made a sketch I liked today! It’s another sketch of a unplayed dnd character idea but this one has a mostly set in stone plan for when I do play her. I draw her a lot when I’m not burnt out/art blocked so I will probably upload more of her soon. #oc #sketchbook #art #dnd #rouge #gnome

161

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

I would have posted something more recent but the stuff I made last week and last night I either hated or wasn’t confident enough to post, so earlier this month will have to do.

000

Mango_Puck @mangopuck.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

Here’s some sketches I made earlier this month when coming up with DnD character ideas. I don’t have any set in stone plans for the bigger one but the smaller one I have an idea but I have changed it a few times so idk if it’ll stick. #art #sketchbook #dnd #newtoposting
