I remember back when I first tried digital art and I was using krita and hated it, I thought the program was nice but just couldn’t wrap my head around it. It’s been pleasantly surprising how nostalgic it’s been messing around in there since redownloading it.

Sketch of an oc, she is part cat, not fully your usual level of furry level anthro, but more anthro than your usual anime cat girl but you can’t really see that since it’s just their head sticking its tongue out in a way cats often do.

Realizing I hadn’t posted any art yet this month… I was messing with her color palette a bit here, I’m pretty set on brown hair I just keep switching the shade. This is from earlier in the month, I’m planning on making a full body of her soon but we’ll see if i actually do. #sketchbook #oc

I keep forgetting to make an art fight account even though I’ve wanted to join it for years now. My computer is in the shop and I imagine it’s easier to set up on there so I’m gunna wait a little longer before just making’s it on my phone or iPad instead (assuming I don’t forget about it by then).

Drew them again but with color, I didn’t use the exact colors I was expecting to for most of it but I like these colors better for the most part. The colors look a little different in person but they’re still ok in the photo #art #oc #traditionalart #alcoholmarkers

I like how I got this app to post my art to make me draw more and I just haven’t posted much… to be fair I don’t like most of my stuff enough to post it minus a few doodles here and there. That said I will be forcing myself to post more this year so that it’ll hopefully get me working more on art.

I love that as a kid before I knew what trans people were, I made my main wizard in Wizard101 the colors of the trans flag. I also unintentionally gave her a badass last name since I couldn’t read back then. Thank you kindergarten self. (She’s still my main, but she has a rainbow unicorn mount now.)

Really frustrated at my art so I decided to try to start drawing a bunch of boxes. I’ve been avoiding doing this despite how helpful I’ve heard it is because it seemed boring but it’s actually really fun! I’m just doing what’s visually noticeable on this one but my next batch will be the full cubes.

I haven’t used my ipad in months because I pretty much only use it for digital art which I don’t do often. I went to use it since I want to try digital again only to find that my apple pencil was dead… THIS THING HAS BEEN CHARGING FOR MONTHS AND IT DIDNT CHARGE THE PENCIL WITH IT?

Any tips for getting used to digital art? I’m currently using procreate on my iPad but I’ve also used Krita on my laptop. I usually don’t bother making any finished pieces (then again I don’t make many traditionally either) because I get frustrated with the program and give up. #art #artadvice
