rid @manaworm.com · 03/08/2026played flamecraft (with the dragons and dragons expansion) and cascadia tonight. the flamecraft game ended abruptly when my cat got a clawful of the neoprene mat but otherwise a good time! #boardgames 160
rid @manaworm.com · 25/07/2026a brief session of bomb busters tonight. we ended up barely winning this one! #boardgames 040
rid @manaworm.com · 22/07/2026two cozy beach themed games tonight. both worth a try! high tide by @marcelineleiman.bsky.social sanibel by @elizhargrave.bsky.social 1191
rid @manaworm.com · 02/06/2026my may plays. a good variety of big group games, a few game nights, and some sealed format mtg + (new to me) riftbound. #bgstats #boardgames 050
rid @manaworm.com · 04/05/2026my april plays. played through all of cozy stickerville, half of the sherlock jack the ripper cases, and got the commander pod together a couple times for the first time in almost a year. #bgstats #boardgames 060
rid @manaworm.com · 08/04/2026mini game night of 52 duels, trinket trove, and finally a couple games of agent avenue (pictured) #boardgames 030
rid @manaworm.com · 16/03/2026picked up Cat and the Tower on a whim, got it played same night. two things i love: the cards which ask you to "pet" every cat meeple on a floor, and the weird bendy different-sized walls which make every level a nightmare to build. #boardgames 071
rid @manaworm.com · 15/03/2026tried a couple rounds of the flamecraft duals solo mode today. liked it a lot more than i thought i would, pretty fun stuff so far. #boardgames 060
rid @manaworm.com · 06/03/2026i see ppl posting their top 9 videogames so i made a list. don't hold me to any of this i'd probably make an entirely different list if you asked me tmrw 000
rid @manaworm.com · 13/02/2026my newest bga obsession is Carnuta. reminds me slightly of splendor with it's tight choices and trying to efficiently use a small handful of resources. also i think the art is sick. 040
rid @manaworm.com · 01/02/2026played a lot of party and word games this january. outfox the fox by @jeffgrisenthwaite.bsky.social was a huge standout. not pictured: seven different unlock!: short adventures i played through #boardgames #bgstats 1100
rid @manaworm.com · 01/01/2026didn't play or write as much as i wanted (or hoped) to in december, but excited to keep it moving and get more stuff to the table in the new year #boardgames #bgstats 060
rid @manaworm.com · 21/12/2025got mildly hooked on warioware and mastered my first game on retroachievements 010
rid @manaworm.com · 01/12/2025played some mtg, bomb busters, and cascadia (pictured) tonight. coupla good games #boardgames 040
rid @manaworm.com · 24/11/2025got some good games in today: a couple more plays of tinderblox, a few rounds of bullet ❤️, and even a victory in cthulhu death may die (only one episode away from finishing season 3!) 010
rid @manaworm.com · 19/11/2025several diners/bars in northeast indiana serve this - a cheeseburger where the cheese and meat have been breaded and deep fried. a weird cousin to the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich 020
rid @manaworm.com · 17/11/2025tried @playrelichunters.bsky.social on a whim and i've been really enjoying it. such a wholesome, well-written game. gameplay is killer too. this year has quietly been pretty good for my video gaming, even as i feel i've been playing less. 021
rid @manaworm.com · 01/11/2025My October plays. Got sort of addicted to Death May Die, but played a decent selection of other stuff too. What've you been playing? 🎲 #boardgames 090
rid @manaworm.com · 01/10/2025🎲 Got some good plays in this September. A couple of new favorites, too. #boardgames #bgstats 0100
rid @manaworm.com · 03/09/2025🎲 Here's (most) of what I played in August. A very co-op, fairly light month. #bgstats #boardgames 090
rid @manaworm.com · 02/08/2025🎲 got a handful of new games in July, played some at a couple boardgame cafes, and revisited some older games I haven't gotten off my shelf in a while #bgstats #boardgames 080
rid @manaworm.com · 01/07/2025🎲 played a lot of boardgames in june. will probably play a lot again in july. #boardgames 0110
rid @manaworm.com · 02/06/2025my most played boardgames for the month of may. played a lot of bga this month; making it a soft-goal to try out as many games on there as i can. maybe eventually all of them but like, that's a thousand games. good month! #bgstats 070
rid @manaworm.com · 17/03/2025got my dragon pick on the group iron (bad collection log screenshot)! now i won't be dead weight at zalcano 000
rid @manaworm.com · 01/03/2025a productive boardgaming month, but i have really been itching to get some heavier stuff to the table. not pictured, but i did learn and play castles of burgundy twice. turns out, it's a classic for a reason. also the mtg plays happened at aetherdrift prerelease! 020
rid @manaworm.com · 13/01/2025🎲 another average-ish performance at link city, the game where my partner gets mad at me for not knowing how cities work. really good game. 230
rid @manaworm.com · 30/12/2024🎲 played a nice three player game of Can't Stop tonight. i haven't seen this version of the board before, i thought it was always the big plasticky thing instead of this little neoprene stopsign and wooden pieces. 030
rid @manaworm.com · 27/12/2024🎲 my partner got me cascadia for christmas and beat me by 3 in our first play. late to the party, but the components feel super premium, from the cardstock to the wooden animal tokens to the rulebook and the scorepad. 050
rid @manaworm.com · 24/12/2024my #bgstats for the year, with turn-based bga plays filtered out. played some good ones 🎲 170
rid @manaworm.com · 18/12/2024🎲 played the dragon game everyone talked about for a bit. my partner didn't really like it. i think I did. 3140
rid @manaworm.com · 14/12/2024i have no interest at all in lord of the rings, but the lotr trick taking game looks gorgeous and really fun 120
rid @manaworm.com · 09/12/2024🎲 nice game night with the brother in law. forgot to take any pictures until we were already winding down with some lacuna, but it was a great time. got a very tight win in marvel champions, tried the new mtg jumpstart packs, and played unmatched for the first time. 010
rid @manaworm.com · 01/12/2024🎲 a very family/party game heavy November, and a lot of good two player games with my partner. a lot of these were borrowed from the library, which is super fun to test run a game a couple times. 030
rid @manaworm.com · 25/11/2024🎲 played the TTS demo of iv studio's boardgame Tend. my cargo manifest was a tragedy of disorganization and I never once took the titular "tend" action which was probably a mistake, but I had a good time anyways and ended with 173 points 010
rid @manaworm.com · 31/10/2024🎲 played a lot of boardgames in october. some of these are over on boardgamearena, which i do love. 030
rid @manaworm.com · 29/10/2024🎲 played dinosaur island with my partner today -- haven't broke it out in years. i won with a far more dangerous park than i usually end with, but it was a close game. also did some pumpkin carving today with the family. 160
rid @manaworm.com · 27/10/2024🎲 played a couple games of Faraway with my partner. it's a cool game with such a breezy setup and playtime. plus the art/theme reminds me of Spelunky. #boardgames 040
rid @manaworm.com · 25/10/2024🎲 mini boardgame night with the boys. timing was weird so only tiny games got played but there was only two of us for a bit so I got to play some of my all time favorite two player games. 260
