Bought a third party model kit. Never messed with one before. Looking forward to seeing how it compares to what Bandai does.

I met Billy Gunn when I was 18 at an indie show. He was super nice and joked with me a bit. Also met Sonjay Dutt. He was kind of a dick. I would like to meet more wrestlers, but I don't have money for meet & greets, and I'm not waiting outside an arena hoping to get a picture. That's stalker shit.

Even though I don't watch WWE anymore, I was gonna go to Cena's retirement match in DC. Then I saw the nosebleed seats were upwards of $300. Fuck that. Nosebleeds for the first Dynamite weren't nearly that much. They really don't want the poors stinking up their sports entertainment. #wrestlesky

This year will be my 24th year as a wrestling fan, but I didn't watch anything other than WWE until 2017. It's so liberating to not be tied down to one promotion. I personally believe right now is the best time in history to be a wrestling fan. #wrestlesky

I don't know if it's because they have the ROH camera crew or MLP have upped their production, but Global Wars looks great.

It's 3am and I can't sleep because my back hurts really bad. I decided to buy ROH and MLP Global Wars. I need more wrestling in my life. #wrestlesky

I'm upset that I'm gonna miss going to AEW Dynamite in Fairfax because I'm seeing Behemoth, Deicide, and Immolation the next day in Silver Spring. There's no way I'd be able to go to a wrestling show, then go to a concert where I'm gonna be standing for 4 hours. I'm old. #wrestlesky #metalsky

I need some risers for the back rows, but I'm close to 40 finished Gunpla kits. It's been quite a journey, yet I'm still learning. I'm also currently watching After War Gundam X for the first time for its 30th anniversary. It might beat G Gundam as my favorite Gundam series. #gunpla #gundam

The few shows I've seen from MLP were decent enough. I hope we see some more crossovers from AEW too. Having a TV deal in Canada is huge, especially on TSN. As someone from the States, I'm so happy that wrestlers have yet another place to work and make a name for themselves. #wrestlesky

AEW is on the hottest streak they've had in a long time. Ratings are up, the booking has been pretty good, and the matches have been bangers as usual. Revolution was great, even if I'm sad that Hanger lost. The finish was perfect, though. I wonder if the blood on the camera lens was a planned spot.

Ben "Reuben" Sandwich @manabovetime.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

I really wish NOAH wasn't working with WWE. I get why they're doing it, but it kinda sucks. I love that Yoshiki Inamura came back from NXT with a cowboy hat and a new attitude. I like seeing Japanese talent get a chance in the States, but WWE doesn't have a great track record with Japanese stars.

000

Ben "Reuben" Sandwich @manabovetime.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

I had to take a break from social media for a bit. I'm only here for the pro wrestling, metal, and Gunpla communities. As much as I want to be political, the geopolitical landscape is fucked. Whatever I'd post or repost won't do a goddamn thing. All I have to say is peace and love, and go vote ✌️

Just watched the video of Steve Maclin getting KO'd. That was brutal. I thought he was just selling really well. I don't watch TNA, but I hate seeing talent get injured. Especially when it's a head injury. Good on the ref for handling the situation like a true professional. #wrestlesky

Get excited for whatever you want. Everyone likes different things for different reasons. They also dislike things for different reasons too. I said that to say that I don't understand how people are still hyped for Marvel films. They haven't been good in years. Same with Star Wars.

I'll most likely never watch WWE again, but I'm so happy for AEW, NJPW, NOAH (even with the WWE connection), and the indies. Hooray for alternatives! There's so much wrestling out there. You're doing yourself a disservice by sticking to one thing. Expand your horizons. #wrestlesky

I'm sorry, but JR just... He doesn't have it anymore. He left a legacy on wrestling that'll never be touched. However, he's needs to hang up the hat. I'm happy he made the jump to AEW in the beginning and provided some great calls.

I finally have all of my Blu rays/4Ks in one place. Now I just need to organize them by boutique label, then alphabetically. The non-boutique releases will just be alphabetized. This has been accumulated over the last 10 or so years. Hoping to get back to regular movie viewing soon. #filmsky

Obligatory "Fuck Jon Schaffer", but Horror Show is one of the best metal albums ever recorded. Matt Barlow is in rare form here. I think it's the best a vocalist has sounded on a metal album ever. I see a Iced Earth reunion with Barlow in the future, and that kinda sucks. #metalsky

I love Joe, but I love Hanger more. Plus, Hook just isn't where it's at. No charisma whatsoever and he's not very good in the ring. I love AEW, but that wasn't the call. Swerve coming back and the crowd's reaction proves he's a star. I will look forward to the potential Swerve/Hanger tag team.

Had a friend describe CM Punk as “a guy who should’ve gotten therapy 35 years ago, but didn’t, and has spent every day since making it everyone else’s problem.” That's dead on. It's okay if you like CM Punk as a character, but Phil Brooks is a great actor by convincing people he's a good person.
