Found in the relics an officail PC demos CDs from EIDOS (back to 1999 given the file dates on the CD). Funny that all those remarkable games, fitting in 587 MB only! i remember the last single game demo i got on Steam was nearly 4.5GB 😄

After 2 decades on Steam, i'll be buying PC games ONLY on GOG.Not just GOG if a game is cheaper, but now, a PC game to buy is a GOG game! Steam joins EGS as a store for free games or gaveaway keys! My move won't change the industry, won't make Gabe poor, but makes me happy gamer!

Sure if future client offer it, and 've the budget for it, and need it as part of the project, no other options, fine, will use it and make the clinet happy. Otherwise, i don't see AI (at least the ones i tried) are ready to be a true companion tool in my daily work/life toolbox.

Everything mentioned was clues by the community interested in those books, things like that 21-based page index. such a tool with all that power of "analysis" i expect it to come up with something new, some theory, some ideas, otherwise, it is pretty much useless in such example.

AI is just a tool in a tool box, it can't replace programmer, artist, editor or writer, it is a tool, that may or may not help and will normally fail. Only human can innovate, decipher, be createive & create from nothing, AI is just "Search, Copy, Paste" but faster than ever!

a print ready model, using all those references. And when asked about size, it was not a big deal to point it to ALL the details about the model. After around an hour, and a lot of processing, and steps showing to assure me it is working on a masterpiece, this is what i got😂

it litterally detected this tool while sweeping the project, put that note at its blackboard, and then used that piece of info to suggest me extra safty suggestion while it was never asked or never related! but i found it very interesting to give that tiny note by the end.

Also, if i would pick 1 of these tools for a future task, it is Claude wihtout a doubt. It was giving better suggestions, much more organized, and was really impressive to suggest me taking perforamce capture before & after because "You've perf tool XX integrated in that project"

- searched Ctrl+Shift+F the codebase for it, once i found it, it was in a file named after a serivce name! So, this is simple task that i would expect AI to help me with, understand the Crash Handling in an alien project to me, instead, it wasted time, token, and mislead me😄

ended up due to the life-long project, there were more than single crash handling solution added & entagled over the years, AI tools isolated one, the very obvious one (from calss/file names) but missed the actual one in use :D For the human part, figuring it out took me 2minutes

both failed miserably in my 2nd ask, which was to summrize the "Crash Handling" flow in the given codebase (huge codebase w >60 projects in the slnx). both gave nearly similar workflow for the crash handling, i put break points but nothing worked. So i did "human" investigation..

Gittyup is not only great, free and very fast, but also has that "star" or bookmarking feature, which is really great, makes jumping to diff specific hot-points super easy. Just press on the star, and i less than a second, it filters the entire project regardlss how many commits!

i've so many opinions when it comes to this game, but i'll hold all till the game is out. as a gamer grow up in Arabic culture with all Arabian tales & lore around me, i yet don't see what been showcased in reveal/gameplay resembling those tales, but better to wait for full game.
