Started priming my #InifinityN5 minis from #OperationSandtrap & Beyond last night while getting some grilling done for dinner .. I made it all of two minis before my can of primer was completely empty XD Guess I'll go get more to prime the rest! #miniatures #painting

I got bottle-necked hard & could not roll above 3 to save my little dudes' lives. XD That didn't work out against my friend's two MHI. XD Not being able to plop out infection markers (despite the 3 putrid shotguns, two hounds, & a plague blade) does not help Dirge much. :P #BlackGrail #wargaming

Good vid! Hearing about the game it kinda reminds me of Gloomhaven as far as a narrative-based strategy/rpg/mini game with minimal 'terrain' (2d cardboard bits to lay on the map). Have you played either or both of the games and if so how do they compare feel-wise? 🤔

I don't have any other photos at the moment; I know that my phone's colour correction does blow out the colours a good bit :/ I'll try and get something better posted later :) I don't have any of the GW shades; been mainly using Army Painter

I could try going a little more heavy-handed with the washes I used 🤔Easy enough to re-highlight afterwards as needed. I'd lean towards a dark oil or enamel wash but all I have currently is #VillainyInks Goon's Grime; a somewhat gritty brown enamel wash and not sure I want to use it here.

Played a game of #Warmachine at my FLGS last night :D It was the new 'High Stakes' #SR2026 scenario. Nyxyan & friends were getting pretty well rocked during the defender's 2nd turn (I was the attacker) but they left Yana, their warcaster, exposed & I burned her down with lots of Howling Flames :3

H'ok, applied some dark wash to antique it up a bit and some rust to the steel bits for more je ne sais rust. Not a huge change from before but certainly looks more weathered I think :3 Base still needs a tuft or two. #TrenchCrusade #miniature #painting

I'm undecided on how rusty I want to make the golden bits--might just use some washes to go for a dirty, antique gold look; as for the dark steel bits I'll be doing some stippled dark rust (maybe some light rust, too, if I pick some up) :D

Thanks! It's Army Painter's "Emperor Gold" from one of the John Blanche sets :3 It's got a nice reddish tint that, with enough texture will settle nicely into recesses :3
