There is no ethical consumption of Harry Potter. And not in the usual "no ethical consumption under capitalism" way. In the "your fandom is now comprised of hate symbols" way.

Trauma realization. Growing up expecting - conditioned to expect - a punch or kick or thrown outside or punished because of what are realistically **minor** social mistakes leads to an expectation of further punishment as an adult in the same context.

Some color studies (I think). There were more but these were easiest to credit. Not the kind of stuff that gets pageviews, but I wish people would share more because as a self-taught artist watching everyone else is what makes it click.

Left side: I was trying to figure out what colors the original artist used without color selecting them. Also trying to figure out how to tell what the main colors of a piece are but that's.. harder lol although looking at them shrunk down in this preview window its easier. Maybe I should just do that. Squinting wasn't working.
Right side was just me watching a video and trying to absorb what he was saying.

KINK AND FETISH ARE NOT INDICATIVE OF PERSONAL MORALITY OR REAL LIFE ACTIVITY TO ANY DEGREE It also took me a long time to understand and accept this, it's not easy to grasp when you've been raised in such an overtly puritanical culture, but one's ideological and cultural chains can be broken.
