What exactly is the FDA doing to address this? Just announcing one recall after another is not going to improve food safety. What actions are being taken to ensure that our food supply is safe for general consumption? It was before Diapers BadTouch was POTUS or SmackAddict ToiletBump was in charge.

In car manufacturing, if a problem is found in production they stop right away and develop a containment/parts quarantine plan while working to identify a permanent corrective action. I have heard of no such action in a growing food contamination problem. Are we just supposed to accept this?
