As a teen with ADHD, I struggled to read—until I found “Greek Mythology” by Richard Stoneman. Its short entries let me read on my own terms. It was the first book that showed me I could enjoy reading. I just needed a format that matched how my brain works.

I bought this #cassette tape of Wynton Marsalis’ “Marsalis Standard Time—Volume I” for $1.99 Jazz is over my head, but I can pretend to understand it while I drink my morning coffee. 🎺 📻☕️

15ish years ago, some straight friends and I went into Boom in the middle of the night on a weekday. We had just gotten plastered nearby (probably Bomb Shelter). I remember the popcorn was good, the bartender was nice, and I'll never forget the Polaroid photos hanging in the bathroom.
