Got in some PNW birding today at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, about an hour south of Seattle. One of my favorite places, and haven't been for years.

A brown sparrow poking his eye through some deep branches, zoomed in. Probably a song sparrow, but I'm not 100% sure.

Bright green tall grass, with a red-winged blackbird far away and at center.

Barn swallow nestling, looking out the mud nest in a roof straight at the camera.

A cedar waxwing in a berry tree of some kind. These are pretty rare to see up here, one of the first time I've gotten a good shot of them.
