Claire Obscur: Expedition 33 is likely my game of the year. Haven't felt strong emotions from a game in a long while now. So much so it's on par with most of my top RPGs of all time. #Expedition33

First character introduction since most of my backlog is mostly shared. Introducing Max Reco, whom I consider one of my oldest OC. He's been around since 2003. He's the general archetype whom most of my male characters are based on. #oc #characterconcept

Here's what I consider as the final portrait for Aisha plus her expression sheet. This is focused on the expression sheet since I brought back my simplified rendering style for it. Probably gonna do this for almost everyone I've drawn in 2023. #oc #artwork #expressionsheet

A young girl with black boots, brown stockings, a dark blue dress with violet linings, with an armguard on her left hand, a red long waving scarf and a red ribbon over one of her locks of hair. She has yellow eyes and long flowing hair and a large ahoge sticking out of the top of her hair. She's in an idle pose. She has a stoic expression.

Took a bit of a break on art because I wasn't too inspired. This is mostly a test of my art skills. Nephilims in my personal setting aren't exactly a thing since the union between the equivalent of angels and demons results in a completely different race. So she's a living anomaly. #oc #artwork

Commission for a friend and his fanfic, which can be found here. www.fanfiction.net/s/13842540/1... I don't have much knowledge of Little Nightmares outside of seeing a few videos of it from horror content creators back in the day, so this was outside of my usual stuff to draw.

Introducing the very first NPC you'd encounter, Valeria Crow. I've done artwork of her way back in 2023 but this is probably the most finalized she'll get. As she's not a major character, she doesn't have a lot of expressions compared to say, Aisha. #oc #artwork #expression #originalcharacter

Pink monkey points towards the viewer furiously, careening fire forward with purple lightning striking behind her. In the background, a Teleborg flies through the air flailing its limbs and a shattered vanity mirror shows the calmer side of Pink Monkey faining ignorance.

An original piece showing a giant, floating entity destroying a city with it's tendrils, accompanied by a red swirling sky. Halo-like horns illuminate its head as it holds a limp body in its sharp fingers.

A drawing of my techno grim reaper, M3LL0W, standing askew on her left leg with the other raised while waving and winking toward the viewer. She wears a shiny, dark purple helmet with a screen displaying a digital skull that she uses as her face, a spike protruding back like a short ponytail, and headphones attached. In addition to this, she has a dark purple and cyan jacket (with hood) and trousers, wearing a plum sweater beneath. Her laser scythe is held on her back, and her face, headphones, fingertips and sneaker and scythe decals glow against the dark background. She stands on a vinyl disk.

A pixel art image of Lagiacrus, a leviathan from the monster hunter series. The foreground shows an 8-bit version leaning back preparing a should check with a blue, white and black colour scheme, with it's name and a health bar below it. In the background, a more detailed pixel Lagiacrus floats with it's mouth bared open in a blue monochromatic colour scheme.

Managed to squeeze in one more artwork for this year. This is actually something I planned to draw as far back as 2020, but the hard drive failure I had made me push it back. Like the Aisha artwork, this art is also a part of a set of ten, representing the ten races in my setting. #oc #art

Aisha's probably my favorite character to draw because despite the fact that she's not that emotive, she's probably my most "emotional" character. This piece is part of a set of ten, representing the ten humanoid races of my setting. I'll probably do the rest next year.
