Claire Obscur: Expedition 33 is likely my game of the year. Haven't felt strong emotions from a game in a long while now. So much so it's on par with most of my top RPGs of all time. #Expedition33

Took a bit of a break on art because I wasn't too inspired. This is mostly a test of my art skills. Nephilims in my personal setting aren't exactly a thing since the union between the equivalent of angels and demons results in a completely different race. So she's a living anomaly. #oc #artwork

Commission for a friend and his fanfic, which can be found here. www.fanfiction.net/s/13842540/1... I don't have much knowledge of Little Nightmares outside of seeing a few videos of it from horror content creators back in the day, so this was outside of my usual stuff to draw.

Last artwork of the month. A commission for a friend. The prompt I got was "An angel based on the seven trumpets that heralds the end of the world" and the plant called "Angel's Trumpet". This is also a part of the Angel-based commissions I've had over the years. #oc #artwork #angel

Introducing the very first NPC you'd encounter, Valeria Crow. I've done artwork of her way back in 2023 but this is probably the most finalized she'll get. As she's not a major character, she doesn't have a lot of expressions compared to say, Aisha. #oc #artwork #expression #originalcharacter

Here's what I consider as the final portrait for Aisha plus her expression sheet. This is focused on the expression sheet since I brought back my simplified rendering style for it. Probably gonna do this for almost everyone I've drawn in 2023. #oc #artwork #expressionsheet

A young girl with black boots, brown stockings, a dark blue dress with violet linings, with an armguard on her left hand, a red long waving scarf and a red ribbon over one of her locks of hair. She has yellow eyes and long flowing hair and a large ahoge sticking out of the top of her hair. She's in an idle pose. She has a stoic expression.

I'm working on a world called Lindranea, which is a setting for the video game I'm making o3o/ It's a sci-fi fantasy setting that takes place in the post-post-apocalypse so it has a mishmash of advanced technology and standard fare magic, so there's war machines and dragons and other silly stuff.

Managed to squeeze in one more artwork for this year. This is actually something I planned to draw as far back as 2020, but the hard drive failure I had made me push it back. Like the Aisha artwork, this art is also a part of a set of ten, representing the ten races in my setting. #oc #art

A pair of demonic brothers and sisters, reaching out towards each other while dark magic swirls in their left hands. The background is abstract purple.

Aisha's probably my favorite character to draw because despite the fact that she's not that emotive, she's probably my most "emotional" character. This piece is part of a set of ten, representing the ten humanoid races of my setting. I'll probably do the rest next year.

I was doing a draft on a completely different piece but got inspired to draw an expression sheet instead thanks to me screwing up her face. So here's an expression sheet for Aisha to basically train myself in drawing her face right. #oc #expressionsheet

An expression sheet of my OC Aisha with a varied range of expressions ranging from Neutral, Anger, Surprise, Worry, Annoyance, Serious, Embarrassed, Frustrated, Happiness, Upset, Sobbing, Furious, Hurt, Smirking, Quiet Rage, Cheerful.

Found a motivational post from Xitter by EtheringtonBrothers. It might be something you need to hear o3o/

Struggling to stay motivated is completely natural, and is part of the experience of developing a deep skill over a long time frame.
Often, however, that feeling is at least in part linked to other elements in your life. When our heads are filled with stress, and pressure, and exhaustion, it's very hard to be creative. The truth about the desire to create is that it's actually something beyond our control, and that's a really good thing. If you have to take a break from your art, it's okay. Work on other parts of your life, regain some balance. If creating is part of who you are, that desire to draw will always call you back.
It may take time, but be kind to yourself, thr less pressure you can put on your art, the more rewarding creating will be when you do return to it.

Introducing "Rose", a character that has important connections to Aisha. Her basic design has been ironed out in one of my old artworks, but this is the first time I've did a full body art of her. She's another historical OC since she's the first scythe wielder in history. #oc #characterconcept

An OC long white-haired girl with most of her hair covering the right side of her face, a torn ribbon tied to the left side of her hair, her red eye is visible from between her bangs, while the right side of her face appears to have scars. She's brandishing a scythe in her left hand while her right hand has a dark magical spell above it. She wears a dark gray coat with red trimmings with the right sleeve heavily damaged over a white tunic with a gold brooch with a red gemstone. She wears a red scarf and purple sash. She has a light gray skirt with gold lining and dark gray boots with red laces.

#letstalkaboutocs ? Sure Maki Kuronami is my namesake OC. Her key traits is she's abrasive, rude and anti-authority in general. Most of this stems from her insecurities in living in her mother's shadow. Her family has the ability to sense spirits but she can outright see them.
