This bed was supposed to have flowers but my seedlings failed and the grass took over. My spouse thought I had planted them intentionally. I only got half before the bin was full and the body was broken.

The garden got away from me to an embarrassing degree this year (every year). Tall grasses just absolutely took over.

I have a decided lack of festive gourds around the house so I made some cucurbit inspired blocks tonight.

Breaking down some shirts to harvest the fabric and i love this print so I don't mind as much that it's got darts and taking out darts always leaves some scars on the fabric.

This morning we all got up and went to watch my spouse run a pride 5k and then watched a 9am drag show. All I did was listen to my complaining child and experience humidity and I'm worn out, spouse just went out to walk some more because he's used to doing 10k on Saturday mornings.

Today's nails are matte and kittified.

Met up with my bestie at the library for quilting time, we booked a meeting room and used the big tables. I got all the sashing on this quilt done and the rest will be hand quilted.

Okay that matches with my 3/4 inch size (I apologize if this is unnecessary explanation, but generally EPP hexis are labeled with the length of a side not the measurement of the entire hexagon).
