I love Disney. And I love breakfast cereal. Especially if it has an awesome mascot. I had an absurd amount of fun researching and writing the newest Make Mine Music blog post, which explores the history of Disney and cold cereal! makeminemusiccom.wordpress.com/2026/10/03/m...

Finally watched the PAC tribute of AEW Dynamite. It was a beautiful night with incredible performances. I hope I never have to watch another episode like it.

We've got a free trial of Paramount Plus, so I'm watching Star Trek: Lower Decks for the first time. Loved the first episode. Can't wait to watch more.

I know it's a rough situation to be in, but it's also good to walk away from something draining your happiness. Life is too short. Hope something comes along soon.

Shaun M Jex: books, biography, latest update

It's been a bit since I shamelessly promoted my books (at least on this platform) so here’s a quick note to mention that I've got a book on Disney animation AND a book on Disney video games available through Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. www.amazon.com/stores/Shaun...

Working on this Make Mine Music blog post just reminds me how much I enjoy researching things, sifting through articles and interviews to put together a story. It's a bit like being a paleontologist uncovering dinosaur bones and then piecing the creature back together.

000

I didn't buy it. It aired on TV and I recorded it on a VHS. Can't remember how many times I've seen it since

We love you too, Uno. Thoughts are with you and everyone in the pro wrestling family tonight.

Diving into vol. 1 of Star Trek: Godshock. Really enjoying it so far, and I'm also looking forward to diving into Star Trek: Defiant once I've read this volume.

To be honest, I'm giving myself a couple days before I watch the Pac tribute on AEW Dynamite. I've seen a few clips this evening, and it looks like it's been a beautiful and powerful show.

Settling in to watch the classic “The Offspring” of Star Trek:The Next Generation, which plays a central role in Brent Spiner’s novel Fan Fiction

000

Currently listening to Brent Spiner’s fictionalized memoir Fan Fiction. The audio version features performances by a lot of the TNG cast, and it’s been a blast to listen to so far.

000

Just based on the poster, absolutely yes. I haven't even seen it and I can say it's a must watch just seeing that ad.

Devastated to hear of Benjamin Satterly’s passing (aka Pac in AEW and Neville in WWE). He was one of our family’s favorite wrestlers and we were fortunate enough to see him perform in Dallas. Thoughts are with all who knew and loved him.

The Fonz Jumps the Shark in Happy Days

Sunday morning hot take: the “jump the shark” episode of Happy Days is unfairly maligned. Give the Fonz and the shark the respect they deserve.

I read through "This Book is All Elite: The Inside Story of All Elite Wrestling" in a single day. It's not an exceptionally long read, but it's fun from beginning to end. The photography is stunning. Don't expect controversy or dirt in the book. It's a celebration of the promotion's beginnings.

When I met David Arquette a few weeks ago, I had no idea about his lifelong love of Bozo the Clown. He loves the character so much that he purchased the rights to it. Somehow, that makes me an even bigger fan of Arquette.

Sad news. I obviously enjoyed him in Buffy, but also his roles in Repo! The Genetic Opera, and as Uther Pendragon in Merlin, as well as his albums like Music for Elevators.

Currently playing "Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club." As you might imagine, the difficulty level is not particularly high, but it's so fun and beautiful to look at that it doesn't matter. I love the deluxe edition because of bonuses like the ability to collect classic comic strips.

This looks awesome! I need to get my hands on a copy

It's a pity that Disney Adventures stopped publishing. There was something indescribably awesome about getting my copy in the mail. I still have a lot of the copies I got way back in the early 90s.
