OK, I swear I heard of this title before, when it was a manga and a few mutuals and people I follow talked about it. Maybe. I don't know, I just heard of it before in passing but now it has an anime....and this manga is almost 20 years old. (it debuted in 2007). Welp, time to see what's up. This is PSYREN. Director: Katsumi Ono Series Composition: Shin Yoshida Music: Shū Kanematsu Takashi Ōmama Tatsuhiko Saiki Original creator: Toshiaki Iwashiro Character Design: Akira Ōkuma Art Director: Kenichi Tajiri Sound Director:

There's a lot of things about me that breaks gender norms -- for one, I don't talk about sports because I don't give a shit about them; If you get in a fight, don't ask me to back you up -- I rather not start shit and probably run or walk away and I admit to liking cute things as well. Like this guy apparently.... This is Uncle's Obsession With Cute Things. Director: Tomoe Makino Series Composition: Yū Satō Script: Yū Satō Music: Arisa Okehazama Original creator: Tsutomu Character Design:

Oh, so this is another isekai we have in our hands, eh? Well, at least this one has a same-day dub. Actually, the more I think about it, I have been choosing a lot of same-day dub anime. I guess that makes it easier for me to get through. Well, this one seems like your usual schtick. This is Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! Director: Norihiko Nagahama Series Composition: Takamitsu Kōno Music: Kenta Higashiohji Original creator: Ryūto (light novel) Shunichi Matsui (manga) Original Character Design:

HEY, a show that's all about being horny and it's on a service that I actually have!!! (No, seriously, some shows are appearing on Oceanveil this season and for those that don't know -- that's a newer anime streaming service that mostly handles some niche anime and a lot of uncensored eechi and hentai anime. It also costs $12.99/month and well, an app for your phone or tablet does not exist for it nor does it appear on a Roku or fireTV stick. I get why but yeah...) Anyway, this show is about how two people can't stand each other but wants to fuck each other's brains out.

OK, I gotta stop beginning my opening sentence with "So..." Anyway, you know how in some anime, alongside the main hero, there's some stupid sidekick that ends up being labeled the 'pervy one' and of course, misunderstandings happened? Well, replace anime with 'eroge' game and yep, that's this anime. This is Magical Explorer. Director: Kazuki Ōhashi Series Composition: Satoko Sekine Script: Satoko Sekine (eps 1-2) Storyboard: Kageyasu Saionji (ep 2) Kasumi Fukagawa (OP) Kazuki Ōhashi (ep 1) Miyu Nakano (ED) Episode Director: Hiroyuki Tsuchiya (ep 2) Kazuki Ōhashi (ep 1)

So... you know those fantasy anime where they have a party or guild and you have become very useful to them... until they no longer need you or kick your ass out? Director: Takahiro Tamano Series Composition: Ryūsuke Mori Music: Kō Ōtani Original creator: Masakichi (novel) Shingou Iijima (manga) Character Design: Kazue Mori Art Director: Kazuhiro Arai Sound Director: Keiko Urakami…

Zombies!! ZOMBIES AGAIN, and just in time for Halloween! And like most zombie anime titles, this one isn't your usual zombie thing. This one is a comedy.... OK, maybe that's a bit usual but it looks interesting enough. Also, 4 girls and a guy. Nice. This is #I'm Looking for a Zombie. Director: Shin'ya Une Series Composition: Aki Itami Kenichi Yamashita Script: Aki Itami Kenichi Yamashita Music: Kenta Higashiohji Original creator: Katsuwo Character Design: Narumi Shimoji Art Director: Masatoshi Muto 3D Director: Junya Sato Sound Director: Yayoi Tateishi Director of Photography:

Well, well, well.... a certain frog has made a return back in anime... again. I mean, he has returned a few times but this time, he's returning where we in the US can watch him legally.... but I doubt this is going to result into a dub since the original dub didn't get finished. Also, I doubt most people would want all of the original dub cast for that show to return. But hey, if I have to watch it in sub, OK then. This is Sgt. Frog (2026). Chief Director:

Yeah, we're at the sequel seasons already. Why? Because they premiere very early this time around and I think some already aired. Or at least one. Well, I'm going to cover... maybe 9 sequel shows or less. Depending on where they're streaming and if I care enough to cover them and as I said before, I'm not covering Black Clover. I tried that show before, it didn't work and then I've gotten back into it trying a 2 episodes a day back in January a few years back and I didn't like it.

OK then, I guess the sequels are coming earlier this year since two came out yesterday and more are coming tomorrow. Just in time for my birthday. And let's take a look at this one! OH!! I smell trauma... and hot wings. The latter because I'm hungry and cooking them now but yeah, trauma. Also, a reason why to not do shit on stocks or anything that's like crypto or some shit. Wait... is this about crypto!? This is FX Fighter Kurumi-Chan. Director: Yūki Ogawa Series Composition: Kenta Ihara Script: …

Well, fall is here, it's the 4th and final quarter of the year and this year in anime has been... meh so far. Yeah, I've praised the summer season a lot but that's one over two lackluster winter and spring seasons. Also, we have a lot of sequel seasons but I always say that every season. Yeah, there are shows I'm not touching that are sequel seasons such as Black Clover but sequels always tend to get more eyes and views... even in discussing things online. This could be the season that can make the year 50/50 and it'll at least have equal amounts of good or bad seasons but I have a feeling this could go either way.

Yeah, that's my response to summer overall! It's hot as fuck all the time!! It's either hot as fuck and also humid, thanks to rain somedays! In fact, fuck you UK motherfuckers for acting high and mighty about not having AC! Especially since y'all apparently die from heat stroke. Hell, Northern motherfuckers get some smoke, too, since y'all love to shittalk the South about whenever it gets cold and how we can't handle it, y'all are bigger pussies when it comes to the heat. And don't act like y'all don't make fun of Southern people for not liking the cold.

Nearly three decades after audiences first met him, Varnell Hill is stepping back into the spotlight — and he's determined to prove he's still the star of the show. Set behind the scenes of a long-running late-night talk show, The Varnell Hill Show follows Varnell (Tommy Davidson) as he fights to stay relevant in a rapidly changing entertainment landscape. Between network executives eager to modernize the show, a chaotic writers' room, celebrity guests, family drama, and his own outsized ego, Varnell quickly discovers that keeping a television empire together may be harder than building one in the first place.

OK, OK, I'm just getting into the thick of it. August has an healthy amount of albums and once again, I did not write a review for obvious reasons you might know if you follow me on Bluesky. I don't want to get into it but I'll just say that life is a bitch and shit tends to happen. But I need to try and not linger on with that and do something to keep my mind off it. Also, I'm doing fine now. I'm trying to be in a better state of mind and do things to keep my mind on other things.

Based on the animated series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, this new story in the Avatar universe sees Aang learn of an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction. With the help of his friends, he embarks on a global quest to find it before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve. I probably wish I did this one earlier but to be honest, this is something that needs to sit with you for a while until you can completely get your thoughts out and I'm going to try to keep this as spoiler-free as possible because well....

The month of July has some steady new releases and yet I would've done an album review for some of them early this month but I either didn't have the time to get to them or have much thoughts to put on a regular album review. Hell, to be honest, I didn't really expect to have much to talk about this month. I thought I was going to thrash on a new DJ Khaled album but that shit didn't dropped.... and maybe that's a good thing since it spared me from bullshit but once again, the monkey's paw happened and well, once again, an artist I liked released music but......

Ah, we got one more anime to look at today and... yep, it's the villainess anime! Usually, there hasn't been much villainess anime I've looked into but the ones I did in the past have been known for doing the exact repetitive shit like saying that she's not as evil as she is or give her a chance or the nice one is actually the bad guy.... ... however with this one.... well, just wait and see... This is Though I Am an Inept Villainess. In a kingdom inspired by historical China, five clans put forth their maidens as imperial consorts–but only one will be crowned empress.

Got two more of these to do and this looks like to be a .... reverse isekai!!! Yep, another one of these but, hey, reverse isekais aren't that abundant as the regular ones. At least it's set in present day. And it looks like it's another one where the opponent might give him a boner or something. This is Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life. Narukami Ryusei is your typical NEET. He spends his days shut in his room playing video games without a care in the world, living a lazy life.

Oh lookie, it's that time! It's time to look into the season of sequel series!! And I'm going to be honest... I'm only doing three of them. Yeah, 3. Why? Because I'm going to be honest, most of the sequel seasons that are out... well, most of them when they first aired were same-day dub as sub entries, like Hana-Kimi and You and I Are Polar Opposites and now since they ditched that and stick with the usual dub being two weeks behind, I might as well stick with that. Same with

Welp, we're at only a few more shows to look into and probably some I didn't get a chance to do a first impression and by that, I mean I forgot. Look, to be fair, that one show was probably one I didn't care that much for in contrast to the shows I've watched so far and ended up loving. But I might get to that one and the sequel seasons.... well, the sequel seasons that I watched so far. Anyway... this one... why this look like TAG but high-octane and kinda weird in a way?
