Nova Scotian here. We might see eye-to-eye with Alberta on a lot of things, but we're all Canadians, and I hope they stay. I don't expect the leave vote to win, but... well, stranger things have happened.

To my fellow Albertans, early voting opened today for the Referendum vote, and runs this whole week. Please go out and vote to send a message we don't want to leave Canada. It's going to cause infinitely more problems than people realize if we do.

Been glancing at FFXIV now that there’s a free trial on Switch… hmmmmm… always wanted to try it but slightly afraid it’ll take over my life or that I’ll hate the way a MMORPG works on a console.

One of the first and only things I did with ChatGPT when it was coming out, was ask it for a commander deck. It gave me a 66 card deck that was about half lands. I can't even remember what other problems it had in it, but it was kind of silly how bad it was.

Another classic, not sure if I've already posted this one here.

The image is a six panel black and white comic.

Panel 1 - a girl sits at her desk in front of a computer, looking disheartened. She says, "I dont know if I should post this art, who would even want to see it?"

Panel 2- A new person bursts through the door in the background with a loud BAM

Panel 3- The new person pushes the girl out of the way, smushing her face in the process, while slamming their fist down on the keyboard.

Panel 4- The computer shows that the art has been posted

Panel 5- The person makes direct eye contact with the girl while pushing their finger against their own phone screen

Panel 6- A motion blur is added to the last panel, enhancing the impact of the new notifications on the new post. It reads, "(Friend) Liked Post just now" Followed by "(Friend) commented 'I FUCKING LOVE THIS AND I LOVE U'"

Underneath the last panel is a watermark that reads, Shubbabang

Friendly reminder to all #furry #ttrpg players. #Pathfinder2e has an option to play a magical, multi-tailed fox person that can shapechange into an actual tiny fox. I think that describes at least a fifth of all furry OCs. Art by Paizo, artist uncredited

If it works, that's pretty cool; I didn't think
would ever see this implemented (I also didn't
expect LLMs to exist).
However, this is not something you can PR
here, or anywhere. You sent me a nearly 50k
line diff, unasked for, completely LLM built, and
you somehow expect me to review it. There is
SO MUCH unrelated garbage here. Never
minding all of the docs and Python, you've
somehow touched basically all of the upstream
HDL, which already had MSU1 support, so idk
what in the world you're doing.
This kind of behavior is not acceptable. You are
infringing on the time and brainpower of people
by pushing "your" content that little/no of your
brainpower went into; completely unrequested.
I hope for the sake of all responsible
maintainers that you do not do such a thing
again.
Again, I think it's cool that you and your LLM
supposedly got this to work. It has no place in
my world.

As elsewhere mentioned, it could be out of choice. But also, I feel like being well-read in a bookstore is like having seen a lot of movies while working in a video store, it helps when customers request suggestions or have comments to have a good grasp on the material you're selling.

My suspicion is because it's a relatively common fetish, therefore, it has a lot of exposure. It's also rather benign, where scat and guro are much more... shall we say, divisive. So people feel far less anxiety over talking about foot-fetish-related stuff while some other subjects get kept quiet.
