Being humbled today as I remember why I quit gacha games when "300 rolls to get everything" is true for 99% of the population yet somehow I was short 30 of the currency, having not rolled a single cosmetic, and had to roll 310 times to be able to purchase everything.

Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada. We remember those we have lost. We honor those taken from us by the residential school system and we honor those who survived, their families and communities. We will never forget and we will carry them with us.

illustration for truth and reconciliation day. the illustration features a wolf looking forward, standing with its pup who is also looking forward. there is a circle behind them with an eight point star dreamcatcher and three feathers. the words "EVERY CHILD MATTERS" are featured on the side of the circle

I'm sorry I am bad at leaving reviews lately, I love art, just words are hard for me these last few months. It's really sapped my will to read and write too 😭

Trying to do the My 9 Games with a live service edition and then an non-live service edition because it's weird to devote like 4-5 spaces of it to MMOs (even though I am very much MMO shaped) and it doesn't have Pokemon GO as an option???

The problem with having to listen to my YouTube algo for music is that: a) it's 98% kpop mash ups b) with 1% of the best ff14 song ever c) but then it plays devil trigger and I just want to play DMC

I've kept quiet on this because I feel people are entitled to their opinions, but I have to say it's hypocritical to see people who are appreciative of the arts claim something "looks" AI without proof. It discredits legitimate claims when people cry wolf and surprise, there's no wolf present.

</3 Sad to see so much GenAI in the Companion Falls for You sale. That said, love to see the reviews that point out how bad the game play is for those games that use GenAI. It's almost like game development is stunted when passion is filled in artificially.

CHAT I MADE AN INSANE DISCOVERY THE GUY WHO WROTE SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS ALSO WROTE THE SONG PLAYED IN THE DARKSTALKERS OVA ENDING

sadie's insane text messages on discord read:
CHAT, I'VE MADE AN INSANE FUCKING DISCOVERY.
I'M REWARCHING THR DARKSTALKERS OVA.
...which is peak by the way
AND THE END CREDITS COME UP, AS USUAL

"the trouble man" by ekichi yazawa
it's a rock song to be paired with the darkstalkers characters plastered on guitars because it's fucking cool, not terribly deep. cool rock song, cool visuals, all it wanted to be.
BUT EIKICHI YAZAWA DIDN'T WRITE THE SONG on his own

andrew gold helped. (photo credit of the writerz being listed on genius)
and do you know what fucking song he wrote a year before in 1996?

Etsy e-mails me "check out this FF/14 stuff" I get excited It's almost all 3D printed stuff </3 (Which I wouldn't mind if it was unique stuff, but it's usually printed stuff of official models which feels sketch)

I'm *really* excited because I found the perfect way to portray a tigersona I've wanted to design for a long time. She's going to be a love letter to my troubled childhood and a reference to some of the earlier vibes I had in my earlier Internet years 🧡

While I try to figure out how to contact them I’m posting publicly that the app League of Dreamers - My Story used AI on my artwork, and are currently using and apparently selling it to their subscribers. I’d appreciate any shares!

Original artwork of mine from 2024 of a black and red outfit with silver accents

Screenshot from the official Reddit for the game wherein they’ve clearly scrapped my work with AI

Screenshot of more AI from the game including my design

I dislike when games are super big on not having multiplayer features to the point it feels like a single player game and then bam outta nowhere they hit you with the mandatory multiplayer mode that is actually ass to play.

love that something as critical as my medical information can only fetch me $10 at most in a settlement (yet I still filed for it because ten bucks is ten bucks)

I was part of a roleplay community that absolutely *would not* share artists who drew their icons because they were afraid the artists would become too popular and not be able to draw on demand for them like absolute madness to feel that level of entitlement

I will never understand gatekeeping in any aspect which is why I am always willing to share information even when unprompted (like how I got a certain effect in a screenshot) been a part of one too many hobbies where people were absolute twats about "their sources" can't be me
