StPetersburg metro has this transfer station, which is quite deep under ground, where the platforms are vertically parallel, one on top of another

how's this wild issue for a change? GraphicsMagick, ‘gm convert’, PNG to PNG, source is PNG32 (RGBA), the output produced by gm is RGB and it looks like A turns into a pixel shift: RGBA RGBA RGBA becomes RGB ARG BAR GBA? incredible, if you ask me

not sure what I expected I knew GATE is essentially a thinly veiled jingoist propaganda effort I should have expected Sino- and Russophobia, but I thought maybe a Japanese writer wouldn't- whom am I kidding

Excerpt from chapter six of GATE volume one:

Itami shrugged. ‘You know that whoever has the resources has the power. No matter how many Tibetans or Uighurs the People's Liberation Army kills, no matter if they poison frozen dumplings, or if the Russians unilaterally break natural gas extraction contracts after taking money, or if they carve out South Ossetia from Georgia, things still go their way in the end. It's because they have what everyone wants. To put it bluntly, even if we were against the entire world, if we could get enough from this world for Japan to sustain itself, we could afford to act more assertively.’
