Jumping on the "Draw PorcelainMaid with your OC" train very late. #PorcelainMade

A sketchy drawing of a cat person and a human-sized ball-jointed doll. The cat person is sketched in purple and the doll is sketched in burgundy. The cat person's outfit is asymmetrical. They have piercings on both ears, glasses, and two-tone tail and hair. They're leaning forward on a curved cane and have their left leg bent back. The doll is wearing a torn-up Victorian-style dress with dark tights and Mary Janes, a ruffly bonnet/headdress and has long hair. There is a hole with spidering cracks on the doll's face.

Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today. I'm so angry.

Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales
Husband of Jonathan Joss

My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.

Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.

When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.

While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.

Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.

Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.

He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.

I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.

To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.

My focus now is on protecting Jonathan’s legacy and honoring the life we built together.

If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband.

Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built.

Tristan Kern de Gonzales

So I decided to recreate a screenshot from the Lilo & Stitch TV show but in the Kingdom Hearts PS2/PSP style. This is the result. Models are from Birth by Sleep, and this was rendered in Blender 3.6.17 with the Eevee renderer. #b3d #blender

an side-effect of Bsky's algorithm being much less tailored is that sometimes my artwork is recommended to people who have little interest in such things. some of them feel the need to make me aware of exactly how revolting they find me and my work

Lightstrike design has been updated! - His eyeliner is much more noticeable now, and his facial hair has been redone. This brings him more in line with @lectroart.bsky.social's take on his design. - His leather jacket has been redesigned to match the one I have IRL. - He has boots now. #zekrom

how it feels to drive at night with astigmatism:

$A wider field view of Westerlund 1. A dense cluster of bright stars, each with six large and two small diffraction spikes, due to the telescope’s optics. They have a variety of sizes depending on their brightness and distance from us in the cluster, and different colours reflecting different types of star. Patches of billowing red gas can be seen in and around the cluster, lit up by the stars. Small stars in the cluster blend into a background of distant stars and galaxies on black.$

Black autistic individuals are largely left out of media representation. I hope Autistic and Black is among the first of many pieces of literature to include our stories from around the world. Below are the demographics of those featured in the book🎉:
