I still remember visiting a friend in Portland who was friends with Donna and Jody and had an advanced cassette of the album. He played it for me and I was entranced and obsessed. Bought the vinyl the second it came out and love it still.

When I was a kid the trailer for this was banned from being played on TV before 10pm because parents were outraged when kids saw it. I ended up seeing the trailer and was TERRIFIED. Decades later I finally watched it after hearing an episode of HDTGM about it. Now it’s a hilarious annual viewing.
