Sure, it’s Disneyland’s birthday, but here in the Midwest there’s only one castle that truly matters... the Mars Cheese Castle. 🧀🏰
A tall roadside sign reading “Mars Cheese Castle” stands on bright red poles against a blue sky with scattered clouds. The words “Mars” and “Castle” appear in white letters on black panels, while “Cheese” is in yellow letters on red panels. Below the sign is a parking lot with several vehicles, including a dark SUV and a white truck. In the background, grassy fields, a few trees, and a nearby highway are visible.A castle-like building with Mars Cheese Castle sign

That shield design first appeared in 2017, replacing the original "Waste Please" look that dated to opening day: buff.ly/GrDOzPE The update was a mixed result on standard cans. On a compactor body, it holds up reasonably well.

Second issue: the cans were designed without considering how they'd look as a pair. As illustrated here, the label graphics sit at noticeably different heights. No alignment. No sense they were meant to be seen together.
A close-up of the white Disney's Hollywood Studios waste and recycling can pair with a red diagonal line drawn across both cans to illustrate the misaligned vertical placement of the "Waste Please" and "Recycle Please" label graphics.

Magical Trash @magicaltrash.com · 25/06/2026
The graphic is a reasonable approximation, though the original has a slightly heavier font weight and a tighter corner radius on the label border. The bigger difference? Color. The real studio lot cans come in gold, salmon, and cream. Florida got white.

The top half shows a close-up of the "Waste Please" label on the new white Florida cans, featuring a large corner radius and lighter-weight letterforms.
