@tasmosunt.bsky.social and I took Patch to the cinema. It was his first time seeing a movie on the big screen. We took him to see Avengers: Endgame, and he did quite well. He sat/lay down very nicely through most of it, only getting fidgety towards the end.

My girlfriend and I completed our watch-through of Iron Fist’s first season today. It was very disjointed with awful pacing. It had entertaining moments, but I get why this is the poorly regarded entry. Once we watch the show’s second season, we’ll have seen all the Netflix MCU stuff.

The new EHRC guidance regarding same sex spaces comes into effect today. I’ve already seen some trans women bravely say they will be continuing as usual & I’m adding my voice to theirs. I won’t be complying with this code of practice. I’ve been using the women’s loos for years & I won’t stop now.

I’m waiting for the post credits sequence now. When the movie ended, people in the screening I’m in clapped & cheered. One cinema I was looking at for tickets has had numerous screenings today, all of them are almost or entirely booked out & by numerous I mean several an hour It’s gonna be a hit.

I’ve gone to the cinema to see Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The cinema I’m at is usually quite empty, but it has two bustling screens for just the one film. I looked at two other cinemas before this one, and both of them were either completely or all but completely sold out.
