Never bend the knee for bullies. All they do is ask for more and more and more. You show them weakness, you're just telling them their tactics WORK. It sucks, and I get that its HARD sometimes to stand up to them, but...even losing a fight to them actually does you better than bending over without.

That's what I saw them do. I don't know if its common place or not. I only know what I saw happen in front of my apartment back on March 29th. They were trying to prove who they were with them, and ICE just took them and handed them to the local police and said 'Shred them.' They did take them...

When ICE grabbed my neighbors, who was with them? Local police. Yes, local police also 'apologetically took my report' when ICE tried to grab me... but I'm a white, cis-enough passing trans woman, rather than being Ojibwe like them. Who destroyed their ID? Local police, at ICE's request.
