It's a great album, maybe their best, but I think what stuck with me the most was the marketing? It's the first piece of media I can remember buying at a "pay what you want" price. They also had a fan contest for creating music videos. The "artistry for the sake of it" approach was inspiring.

Yep! The whole system only uses these 6 sprites, and they're placed dependent upon which adjacent tiles have roads or settlements. Since settlements sit in the center of the tile, they end up solving any edge cases. I found a longer example that illustrates how they overlap a bit better!

Thanks Loren! Biggest challenge was avoiding a scenario where they end up creating their own hex shapes. The varying degrees of overlap on the curved segments really helped!
