I’ve noticed if I come across a YouTube video about philosophy or psychology, I tend to turn it off immediately. I told my wife, “I would sooner seek the Dali Lama on a mountain than watch something that smells of AI.” It makes me wonder how I would view my own AI creation if I were to make Oz-N♾️.

Earlier this month I got a bass ocarina through beautifulsounds.co It has such a soft, rich and soothing sound in my favorite key of E minor. It’s keyed to a pentatonic scale, but today, I experimented until I found how to play a major scale on it! It’s fun to find music like this again!

I’m trying a #tarot challenge inspired by Nat, here. Before I did a spread, these cards fell out of the deck. A day later, I now read it as: I’ve been feeling nostalgic of a time when things were soft and secure, but now that it is no longer there, it is time to start trusting intuitive gifts.

5-10-24 : “Retirement/Resignation of an Ego” in A-flat major. A theme for Dr. Oz’s epilogue. A-flat, E-flat, D-flat, F minor, B-flat minor, C minor, G diminished.

5-18-24 : First A section written, sounds most like the idea in the moment. Earlier this week, found the chord progression A-flat, D-flat, F minor 7th to C minor, B-flat minor 7th to E-flat dominant 7th; with repeating A-flat sustained in the right hand. This will be a great vamp with variations for the ending.

5-24-24: I think I finally found a voice leading that followed all the rules from the Classical Period, namely NO PARALLEL PERFECT INTERVALS,. Finally, I’ve [conquered] the kind of puzzle that plagued my Theory homework pages, to which I give the one-fingered salute. I hope to start developing this theme my way (In true Dr. Oz fashion) from now on. “Habes potestatem eligendi. Perge!” = “You have the power of choice. Proceed!” Wrote rhythm for his name.

I remember last year I was thinking what to do with my music in the coming year, and something told me, “Play #taktop ,you don’t know how long this gem of a game will last.” Three months later, it shut down servers. Yet, it was still one of my favorite games that also changed the way I see music.

My final scorecard in the game. Username: MadShde reached level 60, collected 30/35 musicarts, and earned 45/95 achievement emblems. I once onvinced my friend to run a max-level #dnd one-shot for #Christmas. I created a #bard that was Hansz Gruber and Franz Schubert combined. He fell through a hole in the floor of a Home Alone house. Instead of falling, he activated a Ring of Feather Fall as he sang “Ave Maria” and floated down.
